Sadness

I can't really concentrate today.  We found out this morning that the daughter of some of our dear friends passed away in her sleep last night.  A daughter who was only a couple years older than our own daughter.  A beautiful young lady we've known for a lot of years.  I can't imagine what her family is going through right now.  Truth be told, I don't want to imagine.  This is not something any parent should ever have to go through.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to her parents and her brothers and all the many friends she touched with her short life.  We'll miss her ready smile, the way she was always one of the first ones on the dance floor, those fun show skits, her beautiful voice, and so much more.  So much sadness and so many tears today.  Yes, we will see her again, but today we miss her.
