Winnipeg's Royal Canoe is back with a new song this week and it is the highest debut on our chart, checking in at number 21. Almost three years have passed since their much-praised sophomore album Today We're Believers came out. The band has spent the ensuing time touring and writing, and now they are ready to show us what they've got. Something Got Lost Between Here and Orbit is due out on September 16 but they have just released a preview single and gravity-defying video to go with it, so we can get a taste of what's to come. Take a listen below.

Other debut tracks this week include "Superbaked" from E.S.L., "Hardball" from The Highest Order, and "Bad Pop" from Hot Panda. In a bit of a suprising development,  indie super group Tuns drops from the number one position last week to number three this week and Operators takes over on top with their single "Blue Wave."
