NEW DELHI: Union ministry of home affairs on Tuesday transferred Delhi Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) chief Mukesh Kumar Meena to Andaman and Nicobar. In addition, 25 other Delhi Police officers were also transferred.
Although no official reason has been presented for the transfers, it is learnt that Meena would be officially relived of his charge as ACB chief on April 1.

Meena's appointment as ACB chief last year had led to acrimony between AAP's state government and the centre. The AAP government had even moved an application in the Delhi High Court against his appointment, only for it to be turned down.
