RULES CHANGES EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 10th 2014..

First Week of Chase Racing

QUALIFYING

1. It will NO LONGER be a requirement to qualify… racers may start in the back. Therefore… there is NO drive-thru penalty for not qualifying or being DQed during quals.

2. For those who wish to qualify

Qual rules remain in effect… no puffing smoke.. no coming up on the track illegally.. or any other qual rules implemented

        However…

As long as a driver in violation of these rules  DQ themselves during quals.. he/she can start in the back and WILL NOT have to do a drive-thru at the beginning of the race.. Admins are NOT responsible for policing this… though they will try to assist the drivers. BUT.. upon review.. if an admin finds a violation… it WILL BE ANNOUNCED….  hopefully in time for the driver to DQ so he/she would not have to do a drive-thru… again… ONLY as a courtesy.

IF a driver in violation DOES NOT DQ themselves… and an admin announces the violation…. the driver will have to do a drive-thru at the start of the race. Also their times will NOT count in the record books or in the quals competition.

TWO SPIN / INCIDENT RULE

1. The 2 Spin.Incident Rule Remains… however… all Nuff Drivers will be allowed ONE ChALLENGE to a call at the time of the incident charged. All he/she has to do is announce they would like to challenge to call. AGAIN… a racer is only allowed ONE CHALLENGE per race

If a Driver Challenges a Call..

The charge WILL NOT count against them at the time of the incident as they have used their challenge.

The incident will be reviewed by ADMINS ONLY after the race

If the racer WINS the challenge… no harm no foul as they were allowed to continue racing after using their challenge and stats will count…

IF The call is upheld and the racer loses the challenge

The Racer will be INELIGIBLE to race the next race in the applicable series… PERIOD

If a racer publicly voices disagreement at any time after the incident… it WILL BE considered a challenge… whether they meant to challenge the call or not… and the challenge rules apply

OTHER CONDITIONS to this right

NO LONGER will any PUBLIC criticism of a call be allowed… PERIOD… that is in TS3 and/or any other PUBLIC forum… including personal facebook walls.

Now that they are empowered to respectfully challenge a call….. If a racer uses any PUBLIC forum to criticize an admin call at any time… He/She will be booted from the league… PERIOD…  Again… they now have a right to respectfully challenge a call if they choose to use it.

Private comments… for example.. TS3 whisper (unless it is heard publicly)... or private facebook comments…for example.. private chats…  we don’t care about and no charges/penalties will be applied. But ANYTHING Public will disqualify the racer from all future NuffWORLD Races. There will be an avenue for a racer to be reinstated if he/she wishes to come back… via Admin Vote only and under probation for the entire year if allowed to come back.

END OF RULES TO BE IMPLEMENTED AT THE START OF THE CHASE…

rules apply across the board.

OTHER ITEMS ARE BEING DISCUSSED FOR THE 2015 SEASON

Any suggestions on the 2015 season are welcome!

CAR BUDGET  - AGAIN - UNDER DISCUSSION

Next Year… we are working on establishing a car budget for the races.. which should also increase the quality of the racing and would go something like this

Using the “incident” program built into the game… each Nuff Driver would start the year with the same budget… for example… $36 Million Bucks… or $1 Million per race

However.. you only get credit for the $1 Million as long as you start the race

EACH TIME you suffer damage to your car as reported by the game incident report… you will have to pay a certain amount for car repairs… for example… a driver hits an immovable object as reported by the game… $100K deducted from your budget… lol… so if you are on the report 5 times… that would be $500K in repairs.

INCIDENTS INCLUDE damage taken in the pits under caution and post race damage other than congratulating the winner…. from the time the games starts till the time the game stops… damage applies against the budget if cited by an admin!!! Again.. the incident will only count if it comes up on the incident report.

THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE in charges based on who caused the wreck and who was victimized.  A perfect example… when Carl Edwards Flipped Brad Keselowski at Talladega… who paid for Keselowski’s car damage… Edwards???   cased closed… lol.

IF A DRIVER BACKS OUT OF A RACE… which of course is his/her right….. it will be treated like a suspension failure… and will cost .. for example… $2 Million Bucks against their budget

IF A DRIVER’S CAR IS KNOCKED out of the race due to suspension/engine failure… or a wreck… that will also cost a hefty amount… like $1 Million bucks.

IF A DRIVER GETS THROUGH an entire race without any damage or incident report listing… he/she would have earn money to their budget… for example $1 Million bucks. So a great scenario… you get $1 mil for starting the race… and another $1 Mil if you finish the race WITHOUT showing up on the incident report!!

So…. no damage.. budget increased… damage.. budget decreased…

IF A DRIVER RUNS OUT OF MONEY.. he/she is DONE FOR THE SEASON in the applicable series.

A Spreadsheet would keep record of everyone’s money… and the game incident report would be the resource for regular damage… and of course.. the results of the race would determine who did or did not finish the race for whatever reason…. again.. with a DNF costing MORE than a Suspension/Engine Failure

OK That’s it…. please hit the “Comments” Button above to offer feedback….. the best way to do this is to HIGHLIGHT the related issue above FIRST… then hit the comments button… that will target the comment to the specific issue instead of having random comments…. your choice though….     ok all done   :)
