Busy Schedule at the Monrovia Historical Museum

The museum will present three events in May.

The following is the events calendar for Monrovia Historical Musem for the month of May with updated dates.

  • May 5th & 6th, 2012 - US Military Living History Encampment.  10 a.m. - 5 p.m. This event brings together re-enactors & soldiers of various US wars (including President Lincoln) to demonstrate life in their various times, etc.
  • May 13, 2012 - Mother's Day Event. In conjunction with Monrovia Historic Preservation Group, and the latter's . Special guests, exhibits, snacks.
  • May 20, 2012 - "Many Cultures, One Family" (rescheduled following March 25th rain-out). This event celebrates our various communities in Monrovia. The Black, Latino, Asian, and for the first time, Gabrieleno Native Americans along with school children from , who will dress and speak as former historic figures that brought Monrovia into being. Ballet Folklorico, pastors from our historic churches, food, etc.
