It’s time to unsubscribe to that online dating service and pick up an MMO instead. According to an infographic from the folks over at onlineuniversity.net (page has been removed since) – gamers get girls. Here’s why: the top internet dating site is eHarmony with about 1 million members and World of Warcraft has about 12 million members – and we all know a wider pool usually translates into higher chances of getting someone. People spend more time gaming than on a dating website, and according to a survey on WoW players – 74.7% are dating someone else who plays the game. However, only 33% of dating site users are dating someone from that site. While all the data used in the infographic might not be 100% correct it does prove to be an interesting read.
