Default Smaller Zone of Control (red area)

    Hey guys,

It seems a lot ppl having trouble with Zone of control (that red area around armies/cities), and idk if any1 did such mod before but i didnt see, so excuse me if there is already.

It's an very easy mod to do tbh but well u might not know where to find it or sth like that.

So how much i changed it? Well it's vanilla value is 5 , so i made it 4, could be 3 but well it also effects Reinforcement radius (they are equal I believe)
It's easy to change anyway, just open PFM and change it, then save, that's it. Or u can try my "More reinforcement range" mod with it.

If you will use with another mod that changes "campaign_variables table" , well all u have to do is find and change this value on that mod.
Don't be afraid to look, you are the man that defeated Huns , so what is this compared to that?

Yes Magnar made one with value 2.5 To be honest even that was too much for me and for the AI. AI still gets stuck etc...

Seems that AI does not realize to attack the army/city and then retreat to get away from the zone.

CA was stupid to made changes to the Empire system which was best imo.

    Ah, my bad :/
I even looked all mods of his before

And actually I did this for some ppl that was talking about ZoC in General discussion section, then I've seen some ppl downloaded it, so I decided
to share it here as a thread.

Well I wish AI's only problem was ZoC.. sigh.

It helps to player thou, that matters a lot (not getting stuck/blocked etc)

I definitely agree with E:TW system, it was so cool and realistic.
Maybe writing about this in Official forum would help? ZoC stuck/E:TW system etc.

For some reason when I tried to make this mod for myself it didn't work. The game crashes when I try to load a campaign up or start a new one. I changed the land and naval zone of controls to 2.5.

Interesting, I just looked it to myself if I did something wrong (like taking vanilla table name but only 1 row in it), but no I didn't, unless the value itself is a problem?

And no one else did a feedback, so I'm not sure

But I showed the way, so is easy for every one to do the trick I believe
    Thanks for feedback tho

Oh nevermind. I made a mistake by not renaming the file. That's why it didn't work. So changing the zone of control also changes the reinforcement range? Why would they link the two? What is reinforcement range anyway?

I believe those two have the same range (or radius), idk why I'm not a dev of the game afterall

The max range for Reinforcement army/armies to join the battle started by other army.

So it seems that such mod is no longer needed because CA decided to change the values finally, now its "3.5" for both land and navies
For Charlemagne they are 3 and for Last Roman they are 4.
