  Easy installation, 1-click connect, relatively fast connection with no data limit.

  Cons

  Not sure about IPv6 leaks. Been disabling IPv6 in Windows before connecting, then re-abling it after disconnecting. Unable to choose remote server.

  It's free. Claim to have servers in several countries around the world. Connections USED to be reasonably fast and reliable. They provide support via email.

  It's free, but you get what you pay for. Despite the many claimed servers, connect to Zurich 95% of the time. Connections are no longer reasonably fast and now are usually non-responsive. It takes 3-4 weeks for them to respond to requests for support.

  Summary

  I used Betternet for many months without any issues on my Windows 10 PC. But it appears they are now downsizing and/or reorganizing their operations. I'm in the U.S. and used to connect to their servers in Atlanta or Los Angeles, which were reasonably fast and stable. Now, I can only connect to servers in Zurich and (occasionally) in Michigan. Initially, the Zurich and Michigan connections were just slow. Then they became unresponsive after connecting to them. Now, Betternet freezes after a while (as I'm waiting to see if the servers will start responding) and only a reboot will close the app. This all happened within the past month. I have tried to contact them through their email Support in the past, and it took them four weeks to get back to me the first time and three weeks the second time. In the first response, they said they had worked through some issues on their end and in the second response they only suggested I re-install the app. It's a free app and it's still true that you get what you pay for. I'll give them credit for trying to roll out something different, but it's time for me to look at a VPN service that actually works and is reliable.

  The people that use AVG, Norton Antivirus, or McAfee.That say products like this and other GREAT products have malware or viruses. As President Lincoln said "Some people believe everything posted on the internet is true"
