I was expecting this vote to be Nickelback, so I'm pleasantly surprised, to say the least.
The top of my Weezer top ten is dominated by The Blue Album. My #1 isn't from Blue, though. It's also not from Pinkerton. I regret nothing.

The Weeeeez! This should be fun as they're probably in my Top 10-15 favorite bands. I'm just going to guess that most of my Top 10 is from their earlier albums.

I Love Weezer. Closet thing to the Cars anyway, since Ric Ocasek produced some Weezer gems. Gonna take my time choosing my Top 10. Again.

Submitted mine. Consider myself a decent fan of Weezer. Looking forward to classic rock vote week.

ranking these songs is turning out to be really difficult as most Weezer songs tend to be pretty good, but not many that are outstanding

This is the first ballot I've submitted in quite some time, this time around I've got enough tracks to fill up a whole top ten (which was still nonetheless hard to rank). Still more or less single-dominated but I've tried to throw in some deep cuts into the mix as well, I'm interested in seeing if anyone votes for, say, "Slob".

Depeche Mode is considered "classic" right?

I'm interested in seeing if anyone votes for, say, "Slob". It's in consideration for me at the moment. I'm in the process of listening to "Maladroit," so I have awhile to go. I have a feeling that most or all of my Top 10 are going to be singles since I'm so much more familiar with them than the album tracks.

Let's be hipster and pick songs from their unreleased album.

I had 8 singles and 2 album cuts, and I'm not sure anyone else voted for the album cuts. One is really obscure.

A pretty good mix between album cuts and singles on my list. 3 post-Pinkerton.

I don't think I had much post-Pinkertion. I had two post-Pinkerton. As I alluded to/mentioned, one was my #1. The other was from EWBAITE. (Heh. EWBAITE.)

Just finished my list. This was tough as hell as I could have made a Top 20 and I felt terrible leaving half of them off of my list.
From each album: Blue Album - 3 Pinkerton - 2 Green Album - 0 Maladroit - 0 Make Believe - 1 Red Album - 3 Raditude - 0 Hurley - 0 Everything Will Be Alright In The End - 1

Got mine in. Didn't choose more than 2 songs from an album. I don't think "Thank GOD for Girls" will be worth the wait, so I decided not to wait for it. Of; course I reserve the right to change my mind if it turns out to be "Say It Ain't So" part 2.

I'm probably an outlier on this one. I'm in my early 20's, therefore I was a small child when the first incarnation of Weezer was around. So, while the spread will be front loaded across the Blue Album and Pinkerton for most voters, mine is a pretty even split.
Sure, Weezer has received its share of backlash since Raditude, but let's not forget that Weezer is one of maybe five bands from the 90's that maintained its success into the 00's. It's rare for a band to have a fanbase spread across two decades.

we're up to 22 voters (maybe 21, not sure if I'm counting one vote since it's from someone who didn't put an existing Pulse username), but just in case there's anyone debating the merits of Thank God For Girls and whether it should make their list, there are a little over 24 hours left to vote!
Voting closes tomorrow(Tuesday) night at midnight!

Pulse Top 10s #8 - Weezer - Results
Everyone showed up for this vote, with a record 25 posters submitting, including one new member to the panel recruited by Lordeftones! It's no surprise which song was dominant, but the degree to which Say It Ain't So destroyed the rest of the field was very impressive. 10 Posters had it as their #1 song, and only two excluded it from their Top 10 list. The 192 point total is by far the best any song has had so far in the competition. Outside of the much-lamented Death To False Metal, every album had at least one track nominated. The top of the chart mostly stuck to singles, though Blue and Pinkerton had most of their tracklists suggested by voters. Uh... Web, all the posters in the poll are Pulse users. The Realest Ninja is a Pulse poster (http://pulsemusic.proboards.com/user/4919), look carefully. (and claremarc too)

(and claremarc too) Not the row that I hid (Row 13, between Lordeftones and Timmierz on the sheet), that was from someone who just filled in a real name that wasn't a registered username on pulse. I hid that row and their ballot it so as not to confuse people, and didn't include it in the results.
Everyone else had voted in at least one other poll, so was obviously included.
the mystery has been solved and all ballots are now included!

The 18 of you that didn't include Only In Dreams are wrong. ;) I love that out of the 6 of us that included Only in Dreams, five of us had it as #1 or #2.
