{}If approved, Question No. 5 on the Rhode Island ballot will supply various art and cultural groups $35 million in bond money.

Those standing to benefit include the Trinity Repertory Company, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Newport Performing Arts Center, United Theater/Westerly Land Trust, The Chorus of Westerly, The Stadium Theater Conservatory in Woonsocket, 2nd Story Theater, AS220 and WaterFire Providence among others.

Trinity Rep could receive more than $4.5 million to help make improvements and additions.

Michael Gennaro, the Executive Director at the Trinity Repertory Company, says the bonds would provide for 2,000 new jobs.

"The recreation arts and entertainment sector is the fastest growing sector in the economy in Rhode Island since 2006, by 21-percent," said Gennaro.
