Residents Express Concerns About Arbor-Lyn Development

sussexcountyde.gov

Local residents expressed concerns yesterday afternoon about the proposed Arbor-Lyn development off Warrington Road in Sussex County.

The site between Route 24 and Old Landing Road near Rehoboth Beach includes over 200 housing units.

These range from 60 single family homes and 82 town houses to 60 condominiums.

The development would be surrounded by three residential areas as well as a Beebe facility.

But local residents have said they fear the traffic congestion and believe the 20 foot buffer would not be big enough.

The Sussex County Council decided to delay action on the measure until Council member George Cole who was not at the hearing could review the public comments.
