She might be a superstar X Factor judge now, but Rita Ora's career nearly took a totally different path back in 2009.

Old footage has emerged showing the singer auditioning to become the UK's entry in the Eurovision Song Contest as an 18-year-old.

Ora, who was totally unknown at the time, sings 'Get Here' for a panel including Andrew Lloyd Webber in the clip.

Graham Norton lends his voiceover to the clip, explaining that while she was offered the chance to sing at Eurovision, she decided to turn it down.

A good choice you'd say, considering her rise to fame a few short years later.

Elsewhere, Ora was the latest star to join Madonna on stage for a playful cameo on her 'Rebel Heart' tour - and yes, there was spanking involved.
