A team of Chino police officers participated in a charity bike ride Sunday to support the participants in the 2014 Police Unity Tour, which will be held later this year.

The Police Unity Tour honors officers killed in the line of duty.

Sunday’s bike ride featured two routes, one a 63-mile route, the other a 15-mile ride.

The rides started and ended at Empire Bikes in Chino Hills. The 63-mile course was supported by a water/snack station at Empire Bikes in Old Town Monrovia, which was the halfway point.

Lunch was served when the riders returned to Empire Bikes Chino Hills.
