What lawsuit? Jessica Alba beams as she opens new Honest Company headquarters with the help of LA's Mayor

It has not been an easy week for the star and her multi-million dollar company but the show, it seems, must go on.

Jessica Alba was joined by Los Angeles' Mayor Eric Garcetti to help open the new headquarters of The Honest Company on Wednesday.

While the move was not a big one - the former HQ was in nearby Santa Monica - the ribbon cutting ceremony provided some much needed happy news for the 34-year-old's business.

The star alongside her co-founder Sean Kane and the Mayor's wife Amy Elaine Wakeland officially celebrated the company's new home by cutting a very ornate flower covered rope instead of the traditional ribbon.

Making the event double the celebration, the Into The Blue actress and Amy joined forces to also host the Women's Leadership Series which focused on female entrepreneurs.

With so much going on there was no wiping the smile of Jessica's face, who went for relaxed but chic look for the evening.

The star - who only just flew back from New York that day - rocked a pair of washed out black denim distressed jeans with a white striped shirt and a white jacket.

Jessica's big night and bigger smile came in-spite on news this week that The Honest Company had been hit with yet another lawsuit.

A class action suit alleges the company - which produces organic baby and home products - was misleading and deceiving its customers by claiming its ingredients do not contain sodium lauryl sulfate [SLS].

Last month the Wall Street Journal reportedly an investigation by the publication had found SLS in The Honest Company's laundry detergent.

The company has said the lawsuit's accusations are without merit and has slammed the Wall Street Journal's investigation as 'reckless'.

This is the second lawsuit in the last 12 months that have questioned just how natural, The Honest Company's natural products are.

Consumers also took to social media last year claiming the comaony's sunscreen did not work.
