Description 1)Analyze blueprints, Review tender documents, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. 2)Review / Study specifications and drawings. 3)Prepares a parts list. 4)Determine Net weight and gross weights to calculate the waste %. 5)Determine the machining operations, tools, gauges, durations, manpower and materials that would be required. 6)Collect material price information from potential suppliers and other sources. 7)Determine the cost of manufacturing each component of the product. 8)Calculates the standard labor hours necessary to produce a specified number of units. 9)Add factors for waste, overhead, and profit to yield the unit cost. 10)Estimated cost of manufacturing. 11)Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
