He's a devastatingly handsome, filthy-rich CEO. She's a high-flying London lawyer. All it takes is one boardroom pitch. One hostile takeover.
Vengeful Love is darkly suspenseful, sinfully sexy white-collar romance at its very best.

Until Mr. Sexy Bazillionaire CEO Gregory Ryans walked into my life. It was only supposed to be business, but one brush of his wicked lips against my skin changed everything.

I can't deny what this man inspires in me. I'll do anything he asks…even help destroy the enemies from his past.

But he's hiding more than he's telling me.

When our love leads to tragedy, there's no going back. Gregory's past is trying to kill our future.

They say love can bring a person to their knees.

ARK kindly provided by Carina Press via Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

This is the story of Scarlett and Gregory. Actually this is the story of Scarlett who fell for Gregory. The story is good. The plot is really strong. The writing is also really nice and direct for most of the part. The story is said from Scarlett's POV and it's good.

And then you wonder, why 3.5 stars since everything was so nice...The issue with this book was that I never felt the connection between Scarlett and Gregory. I felt their passion and desire but not the connection. I didn't see how from point A that they just met, they reached point B that they are in love. The only thing that I remember is that Scarlett was mesmerized by his looks and his power but I cannot remember when they connected and fell for each other.

The other part that was difficult for me was that there was mystery and action in the story that had to be paused in order for Scarlett and Gregory to have a getaway. I didn't get it. There were a lot of points in the story that I was thinking that this is a great story and full of emotion and suddenly the affair of Scarlett and Gregory come to take the space of the actual plot. The story could have been so intense with so much more action and emotion if the romance would have taken the second place or at least wasn't the solemn focus.

Scarlett is an amazing woman. She is great in her job and she is devoted to her father. She has no personal life as she doesn't have time for it and it's okay for her. In the beginning of the book, I totally loved her. By the end of it, I felt like I lost her. She didn't have the same focus and her power was lost to me.

Gregory is a very rich and powerful man. That's all I know about him. He is also very contradicted personality. On one hand, he wouldn't like a commitment but on the other hand he let no space to Scarlett to breathe! He actually confuses me!

The story ends with a cliffhanger. It was a nice end with quite some action but no twists or surprises in my opinion. It will have been so much better if we had more information about the evil in the story. Nevertheless I will read the next installment as I need a closure!

I am not normally a billionaire romance kind of girl, but holy moly did Gregory Ryans move himself right into my list of book boyfriends! Then I found out this was Laura Carter's debut novel and I decided to go ahead and add her to my one click authors, because it was just that good.

Scarlett, sassy business lawyer, is asked to pitch her company to a very high profile prospective client, but nothing prepares her for CEO Gregory Ryans. Handsome and incredibly wealthy, Mr. Ryans is far younger than Scarlett expected and her body betrays her with intense desire for the stubborn billionaire. Gregory is used to getting what he wants and he wants Scarlett, even if he's about to bring her in on the scheme to buy a company in revenge. When the stakes are raised in the hostile takeover, Scarlett can't stop herself from helping Gregory, even when his past comes back to haunt them both and puts their love on the line.

Talk about amazing characters, Laura Carter not only provides two stellar main characters, but a slew of supporting characters with unique stories and voices. I didn't pick up this book expecting a cast of characters I would love to see on a TV show, but that's exactly what I got. Not only did I fall in love with Scarlett and Gregory, but I loved Scarlett's relationship with her friends, her coworkers, and the people she met with Gregory. Scarlett is an independent woman and very strong willed, the kind of female character I want to find in books. Gregory is one swoon worthy man, I am okay with him being overly protective of me any time he wants. I really enjoyed his rise in success and though I don't approve of revenge, it made this story all the more interesting. Is his childhood similar to other billionaire novel stories? Yes, but I liked it. On top of amazing characters, Laura has a way with details. I felt like I had experienced the past with the characters and could feel tension and chemistry alongside them. I also like the high profile business versus lawyer story line, I understood the legal parts and felt like I was sitting in the boardroom sweating right there with Scarlett as she faced Gregory. They also happened to have amazing sex and some total swoon worthy moments. There's plenty of secrets and a lot of twists for those looking for excitement, there definitely is no shortage in this fast paced novel.

Vengeful Love is book one in a trilogy that is sure to be a major hit. It's mysterious, romantic, and will keep you on your toes, and possibly very emotional, from start to finish. This was the kind of book I couldn't put down for anything and I felt totally immersed in the story from start to finish. I cannot wait for book two, and three, to find out what happens next for Scarlett, Gregory, and the other phenomenal characters in Laura Carter's trilogy. There is in fact a cliffhanger ending, but Laura's writing makes it worth it.

I can't begin to tell you how much I've missed a good Billionaire romance. Laura Carter is a brand new author that caught my eye with her stunning covers and intriguing blurbs.
Vengeful Love is a brilliant debut book and a fantastic beginning to this series. While being dark and twisty, Vengeful Love is also super sexy and hot! Mr Gregory Ryans, beautifully stunning bazillionaire and panty melting CEO is one that will, for sure, top bbf lists in the future. With the perfect amount of controlling alpha hotness and a secret filled, damaged past, Laura has developed a character that I just couldn't help but love.
Sassy, hot shot lawyer Scarlett is also a great character, written so well. This series also has an impeccable cast of supporting characters, each with stories I'd love to read. So I'm truly hoping for spin offs.
From the outset I was hooked to this story, addicted to the story line and the characters relationship. Laura kept me on the edge of my seat throughout with a sea of Secrets, lies and deceit filling the story. The whole story maintains a good solid pace, leading to an adrenaline filled ending that left me breathless and I cannot wait for the next book!

I was bored and unimpressed. Going into this I was really in the mood for a dark NA romance but for me this felt like a cheap knock off of Fifty Shades of Grey.

Bland female protagonist meets billionaire CEO who comes from a dark and troubling past...

Despite the similarities between the two, I found the writing to be uninspired.

The book synopsis pretty much sums up only the very beginning of this romantic tale. Scarlett is brought in to be the brains behind the paperwork of a hostile take-over orchestrated by the hero to get revenge. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you who the target is without giving away spoilers. Let’s just say, Scarlett reluctantly convinces herself to overlook this rather unethical business deal, as she also would like to see this spawn of Satan brought to his knees. But, alas, there are tragic repercussions/backlash that wind up putting several people in danger.

With sizzling chemistry between Scarlett and Gregory, unwelcome advances from her slimy boss, a beloved father slowly slipping away with Alzheimer’s, and an unfolding plot that is simmering with unanswered revelations/connections from the past, this beautiful heroine certainly has her hands full.

Sounds intriguing? Well, it certainly was…until all the sudden it wasn’t. The first portion was very well done. It was engaging and the writing flowed. After the death of Scarlett’s father, however, a literary switch seemed to have been flipped. Overly done sexcapades randomly inserted hijacked the storyline and the writing no longer felt credible nor well-written. Seriously, were we supposed to believe a five year old would punch himself in the face to convince his father to beat him instead of his mother? Was it supposed to be funny when Sandy and Scarlett told the vicar one of their fondest/hilarious memories of her dad was when he fell and got cat poop all over himself while he was demonstrating how to do a sack race? And more incredulous was said vicar asked if he could use that story in the eulogy. Geesh! What a way to be remembered, huh?

I found myself just wanting this story to end. It deviated from any resemblance to the original plot and the writing quality remained inconsistent. My other big complaint is I hated to see this this smart, confident, grace under pressure, high powered lady lawyer reduced to a powerless, emotional, heap of handwringing lady in distress mess. I’ll be scratching my head wondering for some time if it was just poor editing, because, honestly, the author’s talent was clearly evident in the beginning. It’s almost like she handed the book over to someone else who didn’t know what they were doing.

Title: Vengeful Love, Series: Vengeful Love (Book 1), Pages: 400, Author: Laura Carter, ends with a cliffhanger, VERY steamy scenes, no cheating, no love triangle.

Firstly I'm a sucker of a hot dashing CEO who can fill out a suit in all the right places and let me tell you Gregory Ryans rocks that suit ! Scarlett Heath is a up and coming lawyer who is as bull headed as Mr Ryans is and you've guessed it when the meet sparks fly !
When Scarlett is asked to pitch her company to CEO Mr Ryans little does she know how that one meeting will change every aspect of her life from her professional to home life, at times making her wish she had never met the mysterious business man but there's one thing for sure Scarlett can't stay away from Gregory no matter how have she tries, she a moth to his flame.
A few of my friends had read this book before me and had alike it to FSOG, which in parts I get - hot CEO, childhood problems, doesn't let anyone in, over protective and dominate does sound a little like someone we know but that's where the similarities stop, Scarlett is no Ana Steele - she's confident, has a career that's on a par with Gregory and takes no shit from him ! I loved that this was set in London ( one of my favourite places ) I was able to identify with the area and will never ever look at the Shard in the same light again !!!!! The sex scene are way hot and left me a panting mess - that's always a good sign lol
There are many twists and turns many I never saw coming leading up to an climactic ending.
As this is book one of a trilogy it does end in a cliffhanger but the next two books aren't too far behind !
This is Laura's debut book and I can see it being a hugely successful one !

CEO's are my thing, give me a hot alpha in a suit and I'm gone, knickers fall off and I'm lost in a book for hours, conjuring all sorts of images in my head.

This is Laura's debut (happy release day!), the first book in a trilogy, and whilst I can see a lot of people falling in love with Gregory Ryans character, and the equally strong willed Scarlett Heath I just wasn't blown away by them, I didn't really feel a connection, or that they were suited. Laura's writing style was good, don't get me wrong, I think she'll have a successful writing career. However, some parts fell flat to me, I know you can't reinvent the wheel, and how much more can an author do with plot lines, there was some good twists and turns but in places I felt I'd read it before.

The setting of the book I could relate too, especially being a Londoner, so it was nice to identify, and picture places in my head. It does end in a cliffhanger but the follow up books are scheduled for release soon!

Well done Laura on your debut!

Vengeful Love is the first installment in a new series by debut author Laura Carter. I was pleasantly surprised by the intensity of this book. The plot was intriguing, mysterious and kept me on the edge of my seat. I love a dark romantic suspense with great characters and this book certainly fits the bill !

Scarlett Heath is a young and brilliant lawyer specialized in corporate mergers and acquisitions. When she meets business mogul Gregory Ryans in the frame of a takeover deal, their attraction and connection is instant and undeniable. She knows that falling for a client is not a good idea, but she can’t resist him. Soon, they embark in a passionate affair. But Gregory is a man of many secrets and he has a very dark past that left him deeply scarred. His enemy is never far away from him. By being close and dear to him, Scarlett could become a target. Can Gregory protect Scarlett from a tragedy ?

I loved this couple, their passion and Gregory’s protectiveness. I am certainly looking forward to reading the second book in the Vengeful Love series. I’m hooked !

VENGEFUL LOVE doesn't release until March, but it's already been called one of the most anticipated books of 2016…and I think you'll see why in this debut dark romantic suspense novel by Laura Carter!

When London mergers and acquisitions attorney Scarlett Heath preps for a huge potential client, the only thing she's unprepared for is her reaction to CEO Gregory Ryans. Scarlett is ridiculously turned on by the brooding bazillionaire, but it would be career suicide to get close to the man on a personal level. But working together every day and keeping her hands off of him isn't easy, and Scarlett finds herself overwhelmed by her attraction to the man who is determined to perform a hostile takeover of his monstrous father's company, just to tear it to pieces immediately after. Scarlett struggles with the morality of the move, but when she meets Gregory's father, she's sure the son's vengeance is justified.

Except that now, Scarlett is in a madman's crosshairs, and she has no idea how to protect herself. She'll have to live with the consequences of her choices for the rest of her life, the question is whether or not she'll do it with Gregory by her side.

VENGEFUL LOVE is the utterly captivating first novel in a planned trilogy by Ms. Carter that has dark intrigue, some morally questionable decision making, a borderline obsessive relationship and a lot of wicked hot sex that made my kindle blush. Told from Scarlett's POV, the pace flowed nicely despite the length, especially when the bad stuff starts going down. The chemistry between Scarlett and Gregory is well written and deliciously hot…the pair couldn't keep their hands (and all other applicable body parts) off of each other.

The intrigue was also well written, and I found myself unable to look away as Scarlett's world was turned upside down by a madman intent on revenge. I held my breath waiting for the shoes to drop, and the hits just kept on coming. This book was an un-putdownable read, and a brilliant way to kick off the new year.

Bottom Line: VENGEFUL LOVE was both well written and captivating, and I'm eagerly anticipating books 2, Vengeful Love: Deception, and 3, Vengeful Love: Black Diamonds, due out in April and May 2016 respectively. - See more at: http://www.theromancereviews.com/view...

REVIEW:
The first book in the Vengeful Love series has a ton of suspenseful moments and steamy romance. I was pleasantly surprised with the major focus being on the families of both lead protagonists. Each family has its issues, both effecting the happiness of both leads and creating a challenge to move forward in their romance.

Vengeful Love follows Scarlett, a smart young lawyer who gets a big opportunity to work on a major deal with a large company. Scarlett isnt prepared to deal with the very young and very handsome CEO Gregory Ryans, who sees something in Scarlett he cant resist. But he needs something from her, he needs her help in taking over a company, but there are some secrets that he’s keeping. These secrets may effect not only their attraction to each other but also their lives and the lives of their loved ones.

Scarlett is a woman with a good head on her shoulders, she is smart, super hard working and knows how to do her job and does it well. She is assigned as the lead in a major deal, but she wasn’t expecting to fall for the CEO and be dragged into danger along with it. Scarlett is dealt with many heavy blows, she is trying to take care of her sick father, who isn’t getting any better, as well as the stress of what Gregory wants her to do, and then is targeted because of the deal she closes. I felt for her with her father, as I just lost my grandfather to Alzheimer, its hard to see someone you love forget who you are. I was glad she had Gregory to distract her but she also needed to find happiness for herself. But nothing comes easy for either Scarlett or Gregory.

Gregory is a big mystery at first, the deal he wants Scarlett to take on is not so simple and he has an ulterior motive. Even though I think what he does isnt terrible, he doesn’t really look at the risk of involving other people. In a way I felt it was selfish of him to put Scarlett in a dangerous position but I can also see that he was damaged because of this man.

Overall I enjoyed the character building and steamy romance, with the cliffhanger ending I’m not sure what damage is going to come out of what happened. I’m not a fan of cliffhangers but I liked the we got somewhat of a conclusion that I don’t feel angry over the ending. If your looking for an adrenaline driven plot and smoking hot romance, this is definitely one you should be reading.

Vengeful Love is book #1 in the Vengeful Love Series. I was gifted an ARC of the book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.

Ok where to start with this book.....

This book starts well, I liked Scarlet she’s an independent, intelligent woman and it was nice to read a book about a successful young professional.

I loved her relationship with Sandy the motherly/ best friend connection was adorable and I’m totally team Sandy and Jackson!

At the start I found Gregory too stoic and reserved I needed a bit MORE from his character to really find him likable.

Honestly I didn’t feel the passion or attraction between Scarlet and Gregory at the start and really it took until way past half way for me to connect with them as a couple. Once the book hit about 60% I started to feel a real connection between the couple and I finally got on board with them.

The author has obviously read some of the popular erotica/romance books that have been overwhelmingly popular in the last few years. And I could feel the 50 shades/this man/crossfire vibe in the style of the book. Now that’s not a bad thing I enjoyed those books all of them had badass billionaires, all consuming passion and plenty of sex. That’s just tick, tick, tick for me!!

Pearson as the bad guy was a tad too elusive for me and I was waiting for some tangible menacing behaviour rather than just threatening notes.

I have one huge, massive criticism of this book.... and it’s this PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE SOMEONE CALL GREGORY GREG!!!!

Every time Scarlet called him Gregory I was desperate for her to shorten it. And as she says, screams and curses his name about a million times I was literally ready to pull my hair out by the end.

I felt like the story flounders a bit in the middle and I did start to loose focus on the book. I didn’t like Lara at all and just wanted her to shut up and never speak again! Even her fictional voice
grated on me!

The book finishes strongly and I think the last chapter or so is my favourite of the whole book, we all knew something was going to happen and the drama would come to a head but I wasn’t expecting it to end like that!!

I’m going to give this book 3.5 stars but having read the snippet of the next book I will definitely be looking forward to finding out what happens next.

Vengeful Love is a Contemporary Romance written by Laura Carter. This is her debut novel, and it’s going to be a trilogy, so prepare yourself for an end that lets you wanting more, a lot more. I fell in love with this book from the very beginning, I really like this kind of books, they can be similar in a many ways, but at the end they’re very different from each other.

Laura plunges us into a darkly suspenseful sexy and lovely romance about Scarlett and Gregory. Scarlett is a young, independent and intelligent lawyer; she’s really good at her job. The moment she meets Bazillionaire CEO Gregory, she feels the instant chemistry between her and the sexy man across the room. Gregory is a sexy, attractive, handsome, and sexy CEO, who always gets what he wants —not kidding—, so when his eyes lands on the woman who will help him to get what he has wanted for years, he feels the desire. Scarlett likes her job, so she does know she can't be with Gregory —because he’s her new client. But we do not always do what is good.

I like the way in which Laura describes the main characters, and also the others, each one has something characterizing itself. I loved the chemistry, the passion, and the desire between this two. In some way, both of them have their lives settled, their goals, and they know what they want. The main plot is pretty good, amazing; as I already said, my kind of book, so I liked it, I really really liked it. I also love drama, and this has its good portion of it —exactly what I wanted.

Overall, I highly recommend this book, and I’m so looking forward for the next one! To find out what is going to happen with Greg and Scarlett. From cover to cover, a book I couldn’t put down, the story just captivated so it was a non-stop reading that worth. The romance, the suspense, it was so good! And the cliffhanger end, I didn't expect it. Plus, Laura’s writing is the best addition, I enjoy this kind of writing because it’s pretty easier for me, not being native and all that.

Firstly, I really really enjoyed this book, it was quirky and different.

Scarlett Heath is a lawyer and Gregory Ryans asks her law firm to partake in a deal to acquire another company. Scarlett is a character who is sassy but is also hiding something underneath it all. Her father is ill and the effect of that illness is making a profound effect on her emotional wellbeing. Having said that though, she throws herself into her work and finds out some interesting facts regarding the so call acquisition she is being asked to participate in.

Gregory Yates is a sexy CEO who is used to getting what he wants and being in full control of his emotions but he doesn’t seem to be able to get Scarlett off his mind. So naturally as a red blooded male, he pursues her. Somewhere along the way I could tell that he was falling in love with her especially as he saved her from her sleazy ex boss. Something really heart-breaking happens to Scarlett’s father as a direct result of the acquisition taking place.

I have to say I really enjoyed the way Scarlett and Gregory bonded and the fact that they’ve spent time with his family. There are some angsty moments but I won’t spoil, just I am ready for the next book like now, thanks!

A fantastic debut novel from Laura Carter.

Scarlet is the female lead in this book. I really liked her character. She stood up for herself when she needed to and was very independent. After growing up without a mother and now looking after her ill father, she has still managed to become a successful lawyer.

Enter Gregory Ryans. He is the sexy billionaire CEO who hires Scarlet to take charge of his new business venture but all is not what it seems as Scarlet starts her research. During this time Gregory and Scarlet are growing closer every day and their mutual attraction can no longer be ignored. Their chemistry is undeniable but once Scarlet starts uncovering the truth behind his business deal it's time for Gregory to come clean.

This book drew me in from the very beginning. It's dark, mysterious and highly emotional. I think I cried through almost all of it. It's the raw, powerful kind of emotions that you can't help but feel when reading. The story is very well written and there's no legal talk that isn't too difficult to understand.

I am so grateful I was given an early copy of this book and was able to be introduced to this new author. I can't wait to see where the next book leads to.

Highly recommended

Scarlett Heath lives a boring regular life. She goes to work, takes care of her father and manages to spend time with her friend Amanda. She is thrown a curve ball by the name of Gregory Ryans. He is the “Sexy Bazillionaire” who catches her eye at a meeting. She wants him badly and is excited to learn that he wants her just as much. They eventually get together, but secrets that Gregory keeps will cause an unexpected tragedy in Scarlett’s life. She has to decide if she can forgive him for his past and be part of his future.

I won a signed copy of this book in a contest at the RT convention. I had never read this author before and am glad I did. My only critique was that it took me a minute to understand some of the UK terminology. I had to ask some of my friends what certain words meant. Once I figured it out, I flew through the book.

I enjoyed the banter between the couple. Scarlett seemed timid in the beginning, but slowly started to come into her own by the end of the book. Gregory played the role of the powerful CEO, but inner turmoil made me feel for the character. Without giving anything away, I didn’t expect that ending and this book definitely had me wanting more.

I was lucky enough to win an ARC of the book and ... I couldn't be happier now that I read it.

I'm not good at reviews and I normaly only write like ... two sentences. But this time I think I have to write a little bit more as I got an ARC and ... I really enjoyed reading the book.

Scarlett - You will love her character! She's funny, but she can be very true and serious. I love her in her job. Really. She made me want to be a lawer :P She's an independet woman but at the same time she somehow is a woman who just want to be loved. Craving love after what happened when she was a child.

Gregory - Yummy! Great guy. Wanted to kick him in his balls not just once but he's great! He's one of those successfull young men, who does everything to keep having control. But that's what's so appealing and I'm really excited to read more about him and his story. He's SOUTH AFRICAN!!! Enough said! :)

I also loved nearly every characters who had apperances in the book. They seemed like to be a little family without being related and I love when this happens.

So now I'm really excited for book two. I don't want to wait!

I very luckily won an ARC and my god am I glad I had a chance to read this book!

What a rollercoaster ride I went on emotionally reading this book. When you read that this book is bazillionaire (thanks Scarlett) CEO, you assume that Vengeful Love is going to be a smoking hot read. You would be entirely right in that assumption, it's so hot I am surprised my kindle didn't burst into flames. However what you don't bank on is the pure emotion that also pours off the page and consumes you while reading! Gregory and Scarlett and their story quite literally engulfed me for the entire time it took me to read. I fell in love with them both completely and devoured the words Laura had written. Laura's characters are lovable, relatable and swoon worthy! Her story telling will have you racing to find out what happens next and not wanting to do anything else but read until the story is over and then you will, like me be dying to read the next book!

Vengeful Love will steal your heart completely and you won't care. You will fall in love with the story and more importantly you will fall in love with Laura and her writing, I have and that makes me a very happy reader!

*Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review*

I'm so impressed with this book. I wasn't expecting to fall in love with another "Fifty Shades" romance, but Vengeful Love really made me a believer! I loved the similarities between the two books, but I feel this one was so different and fresh. The heroine, Scarlett, is fantastic! She's beautiful, smart, and knows how to survive in a male driven world, however, she's also sexy and caring and quite lovable too. I really loved the chemistry between her and Gregory and I love that he's a super sexy South African with a jaded past but still is not a total jerk to Scarlett. I also really enjoyed the secondary characters, they were not just there to fill space, they actually held depth and emotion as well.

I liked how the story progressed and I really enjoyed the set up for book 2. There is tons of passion and a lot of angst, which I adore - it makes for a super interesting read. I can't wait to dive into book 2 and continue this journey.

I was pleasantly surprised with this read, and this was the first book that I have read by this author.

A sassy, take no crap lawyer, Scarlett has worked her arse off to become the best lawyer she can. When asked to take on a project she is taken aback by the billionaire Mr Gregory Ryans.

Gregory Ryans is a man with demons, he make sure those around him are protected, but he is a shrewd man when it comes to business. Meeting Scarlett, his world begins to change, and he has feelings he never thought he would ever have for someone.

A story where two people that come together like soul mates, there is suspense, betrayal, love and sizzling sexy scenes.

This book....
Hmm it catches your attention in the beginning and then it looses your attention at about 70% into the book. There is a lot of stuff going on in this book and me personally I didn't like that. There's a lot of going back in time which I understand that. And this book is told by the heroines point of view. I think it would be better if maybe it was told by both of their point of View so you get to know the guy's point of view. There's some questions that needs to be addressed to by his past other than that it's actually a pretty good book. Can't wait for book two!
Do I recommend this book? Most likely yes.
Will re read this book? Probably not.
I received a copy of the book for my honest review VIA NetGalley.

Oh the characters, the plot, the sexy scenes - there is nothing about this book I didn't like - except the cliffhanger!
Gregory was just so deliciously in charge, almost arrogant in places but it suited him so well. I love that he was so protective of the people in his life and that, for some one who claimed to be emotion free, he loved hard.
Scarlett was everything I love in a leading lady. Strong and sassy but soft in all the right places (I mean emotionally!!!). She faces some truly awful situations and has to make some difficult decisions.
The sub characters were detailed and enjoyable, love the relationship between Scarlett and Sandy.
The next part to this gripping story is definitely going on my TBR list!

This is a somewhat dark but devastating story. It is fast moving and sexy too. Gregory is a man with demons in his past. He is a passionate man but cannot commit to a love affair. When he meets lusciius lawyer Scarlett, he getsore thsn he bargained for. A situation comes about that causes confusion and danger and they have to find a wsy to deal with it before real damage can be done but stubbornness and love come in and make everything more confusing and difficult. Past secrets have been discovered but not talked about which creates suspicion and threaten to break them apart.......on to book 2 for more '''Vengeful Love: Deception awaits.
