WHERE: Takoma Park  Firehouse, Lower Level Meeting Room, 7201 Carroll Avenue (rear entrance)
WHEN: Thursday, April 5th, 7-8:30 pm

Please join Community Vision for Takoma Junction for a meeting with Maryland State Highway Administrator Greg Slater and SHA District 3 Engineer Brian Young. These state officials have kindly accepted our invitation to listen to community concerns about traffic, pedestrian and bicycle congestion and safety at the Junction in the context of the proposed new development at Takoma Junction.

These top SHA officials will be there purely to listen to community input. This is an opportunity for local residents and commuters to express their concerns about the new traffic patterns, signals and crosswalks that will result if the current Takoma Junction proposal goes forward.

Your attendance and voice at this meeting with state officials, and at least one of the three City Council meetings scheduled to discuss NDC’s plan (April 11, April 18, April 25), will be absolutely critical to deciding what happens to this public land at the heart of our city.

More information will be found on the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Community-Vision-for-Takoma-Junction-1494937804117021/
