If it does that to an insect, is there any doubt about why there is so much incidence of leaky gut syndrome and other bowel health issues today with all of the GMOs consumed?

This is a Fox News tactic! Ask a question that insinuates a conclusion. For example, ‘is President Obama a secret Muslim?’ No. There is no rational basis upon which to suggest that just because a compound has a particular effect in insects, it will have a similar effect in humans. Humans and insects, in case the author did not notice, have very different physiology.

    Biotech Funds Its Own Studies

So does the organic food industry. Stop being such a bloody hypocrite. Yes, industry funded science should be viewed with additional skepticism and perhaps even given less weight compared to studies funded by independent sources. But industry funding by itself is not a basis to reject a study. That’s fallacious reasoning.

I actually agree with the author when it comes to regulatory and safety testing of GMOs. To an extent anyway. There needs to be more transparency and universal guidelines established. These things are coming, but at this point in time are a valid point of criticism of the industry.
