Other Items
- The board authorized Mr. Wiseman to proceed with replacing the elementary boiler which was damaged earlier this summer after a pipe broke and flooded the basement resulting in damage to the boiler and hot water heater. Currently, Mr. Wiseman is in negotiations with the insurance company over a fair settlement. The insurance company has offered a total of $40,000 to replace the hot water heater and repair the boiler. The point of contention stems from a 2012 letter sent out by Burnham Commercial Boilers warning owners about the extent of damage that could be caused to boilers submerged in water.
