So it was unexpected to see British model Amy Willerton arriving at the Elton John AIDS Foundation's 23rd annual Academy Awards Viewing Party at West Hollywood Park in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The 22-year-old beauty was visibly delighted with her invitation to the A-list bash and pulled out all the stops to ensure she looked good.

However, Amy's efforts fell a little flat since she looked more like she'd been playing dress-up than cutting-edge cool.
The former Miss Universe Great Britain was hard to miss in her Barbie pink dress as she excitedly mingled with stars including Kylie Minogue, Miley Cyrus and Heidi Klum.
The garish number was cinched at the waist with a metallic belt and Amy added to the Disney princess vibe by wearing her long blonde locks down loose.

Amy has been living the high life in Los Angeles, catching up with friends and making the most of the showbiz invites.
The reality star found herself partying in the same VIP area as Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick at 1OAK nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The blonde bombshell has been trying to crack the American market for the last year.
She previously told MailOnline she has been forced to pull out of a Hollywood movie and US TV show in order to support her loved ones following a near-tragedy back home.
'I always put my family and my happiness first so I came back to England and turned that down', she said.
'It was a really difficult decision but your career is your career and family always have to come first – that was the decision that I made.'
