I expected this to be a big tourist trap. It has a lot more going on than meets the eye from the road. It is definitely worth the stop. Great place to just check out and walk around. Tons of parking and it's free. I was pleasantly surprised that everything we looked at was made in house, even the wine. The apple pie was probably the best I've had in years. I've heard it's the best cider mill around. Go check it out for your self.

I look forward to a trip to Uncle John's every fall!!! I love the hard cider flights, and they had live music when I went. The cider mill and donut shop is another must-stop. I didn't do the corn maze this year because we ran out of time but it's always fun, and this year we did a wagon ride! All the staff are so friendly and seem genuinely happy to be there. Definitely things for the whole family, as well as things geared more towards adults!

Overall, a nice hidden gem of a cider mill.
The donuts and cider were good and moderately priced, and the food trucks were a nice touch.
The pumpkin picking was a great deal. We got 7 decent pumpkins for $40.
The signage overall wasn't very clear. It doesn't state where cars can go and where to park for which features of the cider mill.
We got the cider and donuts from the bread shop, and we were disappointed to not be able to purchase cider mill donuts after waiting in that entire line. It would have been a nice touch to know that it was a separate line for those donuts.
It was a bit of a turn off to see they have a Kettle Corn tent with the name Kate's Kettle Korn. It's 2022, come on. Let's be more conscious of the abbreviations we make with truck/tent names.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Clark L.Lapeer, MI012Aug 27, 2023
$12 cider is ridiculous
The donuts are not good. Not a crispy outside like good cider mills. Find another cider mill. Many better option.
Other than that. Cool place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 20, 2021
This place is magical, and we happened to come on the day before the season closed so it was practically empty! Of course, all of the hard cider varieties were so delicious. We had to try the sampler, and the staff were so friendly in helping us set it up. There are plenty of bottles and cans to take home for friends and family. There's also a very large gift shop where you can purchase non-alcoholic cider for the family. I'm so glad we were able to check it out without the crowds!

so cute and the pours of cider are decent size! the location being right off the highway makes it easy to find, too :)

Uncle John's Cider Mill is definitely a hidden gem!!! From corn maze, apple picking, pumpkin patch, and a taproom, this is definitely an amazing fall season stop. The cider and wine flights were amazing and for a great price. The overall scenery was perfect for a fall day!!

My family & I visited the Pie Barn yesterday. Taylor an employee did not greet us nor even thank us for purchasing items. I asked her her name, she replied Taylor. I stated to her, "Hello Taylor how are you?" I informed her that she did ask if she could help us or even tell us thank you. I then stated to her, " It would be nice to at least tell us thank you." She refused to say thank you. I can't understand why an employee working as a cashier wouldn't want to tell their customers thank you. Help me understand why!!

Always a great place to visit especially in the fall. I've been coming here since I was a kid and now I come every year with my husband for pumpkins, donuts and cider. Love the atmosphere and activities. Not nearly as busy during weekdays!

LOVE Uncle John's! It is SO much more than a cider mill, that's for sure! This place is massive, especially coming from SE Michigan where cider mills are truly just cider mills and that's about it. Uncle John's has a whole pumpkin patch you can walk through, cornstalks, apple trees, the whole nine. There is so much to do here, totally family-friendly AND dog-friendly, and their cider is BANGING! Love this place and always find myself pulling in whenever I'm in the area when the air gets crisper and the leaves get crunchier! :)
