Francesca Franchina talks with Frances Harry OCDS, Past President  and founding member  of  the OCDS (Order Carmelite Discalced Secular) Mother of Good Counsel Community, Dayton, OH and Radio Maria Co-Host of Carmelite Conversations, which airs on Monday Evenings.  Francesca queries Frances about her November  cancer surgery, its successful outcome and the insights she gained while going through the trauma and travail garnering trust  during this most trying time of her life. Frances shares her deep faith,  how she kept it and kept up her spirits facing the unknown outcome of a long time situation, a compromised  past surgery, pain and weakness before, during and after the operation that was buoyed up by her inner peace, community prayer, knowledge and practice of her long time Carmelite spirituality in the tradition of St. Teresa of Avila, St. Therese’ of Lisieux, St. John of the Cross and other Carmelite Saints.
