2017-2018 SOESC Gifted Academy / Four-Part Workshop Series
Welcome!  Are you interested in registering for the Southern Ohio ESC Gifted Academy / Four-Part Workshop Series?  Please complete the online registration below.

Through hands-on, innovative workshops, the Southern Ohio ESC Gifted Academy will provide general education teachers with specialized training in the competencies outlined in the new standards (Operating Standards for Identifying & Serving Students Who Are Gifted, OAC 3301-51-15).  You will also receive 6 contact hours for trying workshop strategies in your classroom throughout the year.  Participants who complete the four-part workshops series and report on the gifted strategies that they are implementing will earn the required 30 contact hours for general education teachers serving as gifted service providers for students who are identified gifted.

To better accommodate you, multiple offerings of each workshop are available.  Participants should choose one date from EACH of the four workshop sessions noted below.  Each session is 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.  Lunch is not provided.

Location for the Gifted Academy: Southern Ohio ESC - Wilmington Office, 3321 Airborne Road, Wilmington, Ohio 45177
