Did Tampa-area police tie down, pepper-spray, and eventually kill a disturbed man who was arrested for public intoxication?
That’s the account and accusation relayed by Reason.com. Over two years ago, 62-year-old Ohioan Nick Christie was detained for public intoxication while on a trip in the Tampa, Florida area.
The man’s wife asked that he be taken to the hospital, but Lee County cops allegedly decided instead to “strip Christie naked, tie him to a chair, cover his face, and then pepper spray him repeatedly, until he died.”
His death was ruled a homicide because he was restrained and repeatedly pepper-sprayed by law enforcement officers. But to this day, no one has been charged with a crime, and the state attorney cleared the sheriff’s office of criminal fault in the case.

If the people fought back, things like this wold not happen. Is called cause and effect.
A bully will not stop until confronted. And the police that do act like this are just that. High school bullies graduate into policemen, TSA agents or DHS agents. Too much of cowards to go and fight a real war against people that fight back.

I declare this foul play, and believe with all my heart that someone got away with murder.
When officials become this corrupt and heartless, there is no hope for the people.

Have you ever consider that they keep the bad officers because they are the ones that blindly obey the orders?
Is no accident. Is by design. Where else would they find people with no quarell on abusing in the name of the state.
And where else cowardly bullies would find a place to work with a good salary? In the army they need to actually put their lives in risk. So police, TSA and DHS are heaven for this people. They get paid to do what they love.
I tell you the truth, I worked in an industry where bullies are rife and what you say is true.
They are personally disempowered people with authority and they can feel better about themselves knowing they helped the community, but the methods they use now are invasive of human rights.
It goes down the line, no one wants to take responsibility because everyone all the way up the line will be implicated. They are not gonna give up the paypacket, they don’t care, they go home and crack open another beer, chase those inner voices away.
How many police would do that kind of stuff if an entire police station was taken out by a bomb with all the cops inside? My bet is the pigs would start police each other if this happened. I agree that police will do whatever they are allowed to get away with. The judges and prosecutors are so corrupt that justice is distant concern when it comes to issues of pay, power, being allowed to engage in tyranny, covering for the lies of the state goons in government issued costumes and enforcing a two-tiered justice system that allows the elite and police minions to get away with murder while innocents are beat, permanently maimed, falsely charged and imprisoned.

Just for balance, this man died in March of 2009, about 30 days after Obama took office. So I’m not sure any of the tyranny comments have validity in association with President Obama. Also Florida is clearly a Republican State, Rick Scott, Chris Christie etc. just saying.
