Moving Toward Qaddafi Strongholds

Sabha Rebels reported heavy fighting in this southern Qaddafi stronghold.

Taking Control of the City

Loyalists still held the area on Monday afternoon. Rixos Hotel Qaddafi’s forces hold this hotel, which was under attack on Tuesday. Many foreign journalists are based here.
