Calfresh Application Assistance
Calfresh is a Federal Nutrition Assistance Program that can assist students by providing improved access to healthy and nutritious foods. Students can receive up to $194 a month in food benefits that can be used at participating  grocery stores and farmers markets. Calfresh does not affect your income taxes or financial aid awards! In order to be eligible to apply you must meet the following:
1. US citizen or permanent resident
2. 18 years of age or older
3. If you are a student, meet at least one of the requirements below:
     a. Be part of the EOP program
     b. Have been awarded work-study at some point in time during the academic year
     c. Awarded Cal grant A or B on financial aid award letter
4. If you do not meet the student requirements in 3, you may apply if you are working a minimum of 20 hours/week.

During summer 2017 (June 25-Semptember 26), UCSB will be providing  both on-campus and over the phone application assistance for your convenience. If your are looking for on-campus hours and locations refer to https://foodbank.as.ucsb.edu. If you would prefer an over the phone application please fill out the form below and choose your available times. If none of the listed appointments work for your schedule, include a preferred time in the comments section. A calfresh advocate will respond via email within 24 hours to set up the application appointment.
