The comedian brought his wife, Viveca Paulin, and two of his sons, Axel Ferrell and Mattias Ferrell, to his premiere of Daddy's Home Sunday afternoon, and the whole family looked incredibly dapper! Mattias, 8, chose to wear a full suit with a bow tie for his dad's big day while Axel, 5, opted for jeans with a blazer and bow tie. Could they be any cuter?
Ferrell's wife looked gorgeous, too, in a pair of black pants and a sparkly silver top that paired well with her husband's slate-colored shirt and tie.
Co-stars Mark Wahlberg and Alessandra Ambrosio also attended the New York City premiere.
Earlier this year a video of Ferrell nailing a cheerleader in the face with a basketball during a Lakers game went viral, and it turned out to be for a scene in his new comedy, which will be released Christmas Day.
"That was a blast," the 48-year-old actor told Collider. "I don't know if [Mark Wahlberg's] ever done anything [like that]...We had six minutes there [at the Lakers game] at half time to do this thing and prior to that, the front part of the scene where the kids are getting to meet Kobe [Bryant], so that energy and that momentum of having to do that that night was spectacular."
The night before his big premiere, Ferrell returned to Saturday Night Live to reprise one of his best characters, former President George W. Bush. He announced his candidacy in the 2016 election and promised to take on his "messed up" competitors, including Donald Trump. "I'll tell you something, whenever I get in a bad mood, I just picture his big, fat, orange Oompa Loompa face and I just pissed my pants," he said.
He also addressed Jeb Bush's candidacy and joked, "Poor Jeb," he said. "You gotta admit it's a pretty good plot twist that I turned out to be the smart one."
Ferrell regularly played the former president in the late 00s and reprised the role once again when he hosted in 2012.
