[Script]Touchwiz De-Bloating Script and Gapps ~ 222 Apps

The title says it all, let's keep this simple.
No one likes bloat-ware, so why keep it?
If you like bloat-ware you must be a Samsung Employee.

There are two versions of the script, one will simply de-bloat and the other will update Google Apps in the same process.
You can edit the Update-Script to choose what you want to keep, remove the line which contains the app you want to keep.
This script works on de-odexed and odexed ROMs.
Sfinder and Quickconnect toggles are also removed from the notification drawer.

It is advised that this is flashed on top of a clean install to avoid issues.
Make sure you have a back-up, this script is not yet stable and so expect some issues.

What is removed? Marshmallow (210 apps)

Tutorial / Guide

First download and install Winrar and Notepad ++
Then open the bloatware script.zip you downloaded.

Then open the 'META-INF' folder within the file.

Then open the 'com' folder.

Then open the 'google' folder.

Then open the 'android' folder.

Then open the 'updater-script' file.

Open the file with Notepad ++.

Highlight the apps you want to keep.

Then press delete.

Then press save.

Then close Notepad++ and you will be prompted to update the archive press yes.

Gumtree and Soundhound working fine here (I'm on stock COK2 ROM).
Try with a clean install and see if the FCs continue?

Hey @Battlehero I flashed "De-bloat Script Version 1 with Gapps" and all the Gapps were removed.. Play Services and Play Store were removed

This is strange, have you tried flashing the script again?
Go to App Manager and see if Google Playstore and Play Services are in the 'Downloaded' section.
If they are then press 'Uninstall' and then reboot.
This occurs when Gapps have already been automatically updated.

That should work fine as well, simply install the apk like a regular app and it should fix the problem. Unfortunately it's just the way Touchwiz is coded.
It should not be a problem with a clean install though because I have tested it a couple of times.

Maybe you can make an option to archive deleted apps/Files before deletion, e.g. to some subfolder on external sd. (E.g. /backup/debloat/(date)/system/app, .../priv-app/ etc.
So that files that are needed later may easily restored to the right folder?

I had a problem with the script. When someone was calling me only the number was displayed and not the contact name even though in recents it was displayed fine. The same was happening when i was calling someone.

The camera FC is not the scripts fault, COI3 and COJ3 were causing some issues when doing super-wipes using _alxendr's devbase
