Works for me on CM 10.2!

how did you install it on CM?? If you just did it through recovery I'm sure it's not reflecting in your CM

PS: Extracting the modem files from radio.img and copying it manually to system\etc\firmware seems to towrk in CM.

CM10.2 no longer includes radio files in that folder rather it uses the radio from the firmware. My guess it will be gone next time you flash.

sorry my mistake. I'm not on CM10.2. (illusion 2.1)

(for those who are on older versions the above method should work, although I don't know if 1.20 is better in some way. So far no difference for me)

Flashed latest nightly
Radio still 1.20. CM uses the radio listed in the bootloader these days.

Are there any known benefits/issues with this radio?

I am on PAC 4.3 with Soff so should work I believe.

I had it running for 2 Days standby on Darkjelly (cm10.2)...all went well...then I did got outside and wanted to play Ingress....
freeze, reboot, bootloop without end.
I did flash 1.15 EU with the sense radio installer v6, restored my backup from before the update and all runs again as it should.

    Wrong :)

So...most of you seems to forgot that we are also some of us that still have the lower hboots 1.06, 1.09 ...yeah, dinosaurs dont' wanna die

I've tested and you can flash this even if you're S-On IF you have a hboot lower than 1.13. The new radio is shown in bootloader. To use it in an CM10.2 or other newer ROm though...that's a different story. After first flashing and booting into Odyssey ROM I got no cell signal and in About Phone at Baseband section I had "unknown"..OK. Next try...I've rebooted again in recovery and I've flashed the temporary radio installer for CM from the Radio Thread HERE and rebooted once again....Bingo, this time I had cell signal and surprise, in About Phone - Baseband, it was showing 1.20.50.05.16_10.31.50.08 even if the temporary radio installer zip DOES NOT contain this radio (the latest there is 1.15 which I had used previously). So it was the same that was showing in bootloader screen. Then, another surprise...NO WiFi. Hopefully I remembered that there is a WiFi Fix zip and more than that I had it saved on my sdcard. I've rebooted the third time in recovery and flashed the WiFi fix. Finally I got everything working AND the latest radio.

Now, as the story is a bit long to follow, I'll give the steps below to avoid having someone rebooting so many times :)

    1. Download and save on your sdcard: the radio zip from this thread, the temporary radio instaler V4 from Tecardo's thread (link above) and the WiFi Fix (available if you don't find it anywhere else, HERE)
    2. Reboot to recovery and flash them in the same order: the radio from this thread, the temporary radio (here I've chosen Europe and the latest 1.15 radio but I think it doesn't matter anyways) and last the WiFi fix
    3. Reboot and enjoy
    2
Is it okay to use the temporary radio installer? Since i'm on the latest hboot though i'm s-off.

And if i want to revert back to 1.20 radio, i just have to flash this again? Coz the temp radio installer doesn't have the 1.20 radio..

I'll try to downgrade my radio coz i'm having problems with it.. i already tried the wifi fix in maximus thread but the problem is still there. What i'm experiencing is that, i have a habit of turning my phone to airplane mode when sleeping over night, but when i woke up and turn off airplane mode, wifi doesn't work instantaneously, i have to turn off my wifi then wait for several minutes before the wifi gets to working as it supposed to be..

Anyone here got the same problem?
Maibe you should have asked this in the radio thread not here... Anyways, there are TWO ZIP files there, The Sense V6 and the temporary radio installer V4. Use the Sense V6 for flashing radio (1.15 is latest) to your bootloader and use it with any Sense or CM10.2 ROMs (including latest Carbon, Beanstalk, Odyssey and so on). Use the temporary radio installer V4 for other AOSP/CM based ROMs. It's all depending on which ROM you're using

And yes, if you want to have back the 1.20 radio you will have to flash this one again.

thats what it says , and there is no solution.

Since thats a post about the radio, I am looking at first place how to manage install the new radio, help about it :) please ! :)

Being either S-ON or with a locked/relocked bootloader, you'll get that error.
