Below you can find Video LiveThumbnails feature MOD ported by me from GSIII

Instruction:

Install zip from CWM.



Notes:

Video application could crash if you open it before media scanning has finished.

Welcome, the mod doesn't drain battery try by yourself.

It works! But creating livethumbnails takes a while. I deleted my cached livethumbnails and calculated the time the app took to create them again.
You can see the result in the video below(about 5 minutes):

Making livethumbnails is quite fast for most of video formats with the exception of MP4 HD videos.You can check that following these steps:

1)Install MOD
2)Play any AVI or other videos,press menu and select chapter preview.
3)Do the same thing with a MP4 video

Definitely works on a deodexed ROM. Should work fine on an odexed ROM as long as you make sure to delete videoplayer.odex file from \system\apps before flashing this mod.

Okay, will try that.

Edit:
Nope, doesn't seem to work. Deleted and flashed, but I just got the regular gallery without a video player.
