Benjamin wrote his first commercial software application at 13, and went on to work with companies including Cisco Systems, Microsoft, IBM, Motorola and Juniper Networks.
Benjamin is an entrepreneur who has started and funded a number of technology start ups, he still can’t stay away from code, developing in JavaScript, Node.js and PHP on HHVM. Benjamin is as passionate about what technology can achieve, particularly at the intersection between people, communication, and software, as he ever has been, and combines this with his academic background in engineering, education and psychology.
Jack is Google Developer Expert in Web Technologies, he blogs about JavaScript at http://javascriptplayground.com and writes for a number of online and print publications, including Net Magazine and 24ways.
Jack is a Computer Science graduate from the University of Bath, working as a developer Evangelist in London at Pusher. He spends his time writing Ruby backends which are then consumed by JavaScript frontends, normally with AngularJS. In his spare time he can be found working on a number of open source projects.
