Copyright Review Volunteers Wanted.

There are plenty of areas where non-technical and detailed oriented
Volunteers can "vary effectively" assist the Debian Community.

After asking around a bit and getting opinions I've decided to help
organise a copyright verification and creation team. This is hard work
and I'm told it will drive Volunteers to suicide, nevertheless I'm
committed to forming this team.

Interested parties can get started right away by reading the
[1]Copyright Review Wiki page.

I'd also like to eventually extend the scope of this group to
prepackaging debian/copyright files for Developers. At first it'll be
difficult to identify Developers who even want this service. However
there are a lot of ITP and RFP that are being held up by copyright
relates issues, so there is a good place to get started.

If you are looking for a way that you can assist the Debian Community
there are a lot of options and I'd be glad to assist anyone wanting to
jump in.
For more information about my mission, please read my recent [2]posts on
the debina-devel list.

One in particular comes to mind 646607.
There is already a mostly complete [3]copyright file and an otherwise
completed [4]Package.
