After releasing a three-song EP in November, country singer Josh Kelley is set to release his debut album, ‘Georgia Clay,’ on March 22. He wrote or co-wrote every song on the album, and the title track -- which has become a Top 25 country hit -- was written with his brother, Charles Kelley from Lady Antebellum, who also wrote another tune on the record with him.

Kelley says, "This record is a time capsule. It’s by far the best thing I’ve written and I’ve never been more proud. I’m proud to be in a genre where people pay attention to meaningful lyrics and truly appreciate storytelling. I feel like I’ve become more of a man with the writing of this record.”

As a teenager, Kelley and his brother Charles formed a band called Inside Blue. Kelley released an independent album as a singer-songwriter in 2001, signed with Hollywood Records in 2002 and then two albums later he asked to be let go from his contract. He put out his third album under his own label named Threshold (later called DNK Records). But in November 2009, he signed with MCA Nashville and began recording his first country album.

In his young country career, the 'Georgia Clay' singer has already toured with Miranda Lambert and Eric Church, and he's even sang at the Grand Ole Opry. Like many other country stars, Kelley's also taken to Twitter to document his day-to-day life. A few days ago he tweeted, "Headed from Boise to Denver today traveling like a runny egg -- got hand screened by the TSA -- left my iPad in bin and just spilled my coffee."
