the sad feeling of either getting throttled or paying overcharges, once a certain data limit is reached. Indeed the persons who do have limitless internet plan, they are also don't unnecessarily need their device to be utilizing the network everytime, particularly if their battery is running low. That is the reason its important to know how to restrict/stop background running apps from using unnecessarily data – that is internet data that certain applications use when you're not utilizing the application on your device foreground.

BAD TRICK:

While some person want to essentially stopped all background network service by SYNC OFF, this can have influences to the apps in a bad manner to that apps that depends upon the network like email notification or Google Voice SMS, whatsapp messages, facebook notifications messages etc. So that it is not a perfect answer for everybody.

GOOD TRICK:

Fortunately, Android permits you to stop background data/network utilization for individual applications – that is very good if there's an application that is consuming up a lot of network, and you want to stop that app but you need to get your apps/Gmail notifications. Just go to :

Settings > Data Usage

Click on Your App

Look at the amount of network/data consuming by each apps, and if any apps appears as like its consuming the data at high rates, then simply tap it. At that point and scroll down and select :-

You'll need to accept a cautioning message that is (........."this feature may cause an app that depends upon the background data to stop working when only mobile networks are available. Non mobile network will be used if available."..........)yet that is OK, that will be fine.– that is the thing that you need!

OK
