The Cock Public House

Our first Visit but not our last!
We had a Day out to Audley End House 6/04/2022, then was looking for a Pub Lunch, stopped at one Pub, Food not to our liking, then we noticed The Cock pub by now it was pouring of Rain this was at 2.20pm But they were more than happy to accommodate us as they normally stop food serving at 2.30, The food was piping Hot (Not Ploughman's) and the service was great and very friendly

We went into this pub on a Monday evening at about 6:30pm for an early dinner. At that time it was quietly busy and the clientèle were predominantly men who appeared to be commercial travellers. However, the food, which was served in a separate dining area slightly away from the main bar, was excellent and quite good value. We would certainly be happy to return.
