The Grammy award-winning artist asked Emily Tammam to come on stage at the Manchester Arena gig on Tuesday after spotting her banner saying: ‘It's my dream to sing with Adele’.
And a video captured by a member of the audience showed the youngster belting out an impressive rendition of Someone Like You to the delight of more than 20,000 of the 27-year-old singer’s fans.

Her father Ray Tammam, 45, from Manchester, had bought two £95 tickets to attend the show with his daughter, whom he said was one round away from the TV stage of Britain’s Got Talent in 2014.
And the financial adviser told MailOnline: ‘Her favourite singer is Adele and she just made a homemade sign which said “It's my dream to sing with Adele”. I said, “Yeah, bring it with you”.
‘Just before the end Adele turned and looked and read it out - and she said, “Okay, just come on stage then”. This was rather a large shock as you can imagine.
‘She then said we're going to sing Someone Like You, which is by coincide Emily's favourite song. She said she could sing the first verse. Emily sang and got a very good response from the audience.
‘She let her carry on and do effectively the whole song on her own in front of 25,000 people and the response was incredible from the audience. Emily was very cool in the circumstances.’
Mr Tammam added that Emily was ‘mobbed by a lot of people at the end of the concert’ and that he was ‘massively proud’ of his daughter, who was ‘happy and shocked’ at what happened.

He explained that Emily is autistic and was also diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which has led to her struggling in some social situations in the past.
She also suffers from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a rare condition which affects her joints and saw her temporarily lose the use of her legs two years ago.
Emily recovered following six months in hospital and can walk again now, but is unable to ‘go long distances or do anything particularly physical’, Mr Tammam said.
Mr Tammam attended the gig without his make-up presenter wife Vicky, 37, who was working, while his nine-year-old son Jack was looked after by his grandmother at the time.
The video filmed by another audience member shows Emily stepping up onto the intimate stage in and nervously looking at the singer as the first chords of Adele's chart-topping hit.
But following a reassuring hand on the shoulder, and a whisper in her ear, the girl holds the microphone up and starts an almost pitch-perfect run-through of the hit.

Perched on the front row at the gig she tried to get a picture with the musician, though little did she know that Adele had held up her sell-out concert to pose for it.
The cheeky Skyfall singer ducked down with a cheesy grin to be caught in the frame and make the fan's night with the perfect reminder of 2016's When We Were Young tour.

Adele kicked off her Manchester gigs on Tuesday night to the delight of her swarms of adoring fans from across the country.
One in particular was Ms Scott, who had traveled all the way from Old Swan in Liverpool to be in attendance at one of the sell-out concerts.
Her excitement urged her to buy front row seats with husband Jordan and was quite clear later when she chucked a thumbs up in front of the internationally acclaimed singer, whose 2008 hit Chasing Pavements originally secured Ms Scott’s superfan status.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Ms Scott said: 'I just couldn’t believe it. She was going around the edge of the stage saying hello to people and interacting with the crowd and I just shouted to her if she could get a selfie.
'The whole night was amazing. We’re both huge fans of Adele, even my kids Kyle and Ella absolutely love her - they sing along to Hello.'

Ms Scott added: 'She couldn’t come down off the stage but she posed for the picture and she said that my hair looked great. I just couldn’t believe it.'
Even when the concert hall was still filling out, Ms Scott took up her seat early and turned the lens on herself, keen to document the night with selfies.
She was still snapping away when it looked like Adele had been coming off the stage, and opportunist Ms Scott managed to capture the ultimate visual snapshot of the night.
Holding up her elegant Burberry gown, Adele paused at the top of the steps and even uttered a priceless 'Hello' as she made her descent.
Adele kicked off her stage performances in Belfast last week, quickly moving on to Dublin and most recently to Manchester.
