Alameda Little League Game Reports through March 25

The Majors and Minors divisions played. Farm and T-Ball were rained out.

Majors

Harbor Bay Realty, Richard Kim Astros 7, Eyewise Optometry Athletics 5

On March 20, Samuel Macias, Gregory Shacht and Joshua Cleto all doubled during the second inning for the Astros.

The Athletics' Andrew Broz made a nice catch and had a double that scored two runs. Sandeep Mahl allowed zero runs for three innings pitched and Willie Mein led the A’s with two hits and a scoreless inning pitched.

D20 Games Rivercats 10, Bladium River Bandits 5

For the River Bandits, Zach Karch had a 2 for 2 day at the plate with an RBI. AJ Ramsey doubled and drove home two runs on March 11.

For the Rivercats, Ramit Guha pitched two scoreless innings and hit a triple driving home 2 runs. Oscar Knox White also had a RBI triple. Mark Makashima closed the game by striking out 3 batters in the last inning.

D20 Games Rivercats 7 - El Agavero Stars 9

For the Stars, Chris Caldwell pitched three innings giving up 4 runs on March 19. Ameer Omar had a 3 for 3 day at the plate. Also with RBI hits were Nathan Dudley and Conrad Chipman.

For the Rivercats, Ethan Maxim stole home to score the first Rivercats run. Catcher Mark Makashima threw out a runner at second base. Michael Waldman threw out a runner at home, and Connor Sparks pitched a scoreless inning.

Seelenbacher Jewelers Express: 5 - Thirsty Bear Brewing Company Red Wings: 4

Dylan Reyes had his first hit in Little League and pitcher Benjamin Seelenbacher made a sliding catch home on March 19 for the Express.

The Red Wings Sam Currid went 2 for 2 and Ari Burrows and Spancer Kao contributed to a three run first inning. Edgar Duchesneau, Danny Keep, AJ Silberstein were fielding standouts. 

AA Division

Bowzer’s Pizza Rockhounds 8 vs SJND and Maus Dental Group Thunder 7

Sam Davis pitched a great two innings and a second inning shutout. J.P. Chiu had a strong solid hit getting a double. Both Kai Tocchini and Brandon Gross had hits and stole bases. A great fly ball catch by Harison Bell in the outfield and Malachi Francois speared a line drive to end a Rockhound rally.

A Division

Little House Mets 13, Roughing It Day Camp Volcanoes 12

The Volcanoes' Cuyler Shannon had a double, two singles, and a put-out at first on March 21. Josh Moleiro had a double and teamed up with Jonathan Schnoebelen for a key out at first base to end the fifth inning.

For the Mets, Christian Belmonte hit two singles and a triple and Nicholas Bellinger caught a great pop fly at the end of the sixth. Max Hernandez made several plays including an early triple, a double play, and an RBI in the sixth to tie the game. A hit by Cosi Restagno ended the game in the bottom of the seventh.

Dobbs Ferry SF Sand Gnats 12, Endocare Raptors 12

Live Tega had back-to-back defensive stops at first base for the Sand Gnats on March 22. Mateo Hamilton tripled.

For the Raptors, shortstop Luc Kelley and third baseman Alex Szecsey combined for a double play.  Owen Conway caught a batter out at first base and also hit a double, driving home a run.
