Your Child and Technology: How to Take Back Control
For this two workshops you are invited to bring the tablets and phones your child(ren) use at home, where our Learning Technology specialists will help you set them up with the ESF recommended Internet Safety settings.  You will also be shown how to use a parent mobile device to control your child's mobile device(s).

Please read the following information carefully before signing up for the workshop.

Wednesday 3rd October 17:00-18:30
iPads and iPhones must be running iOS 10 or iOS 11. Android devices should be Android 6 or later.  Please note you will need to bring a 'Master' device, ideally a parent's iPhone, iPad or Android device IN ADDITION to any devices that your children use.  You will use your master device to control the children's devices. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU USE AN APPLE DEVICE AND YOUR CHILD USES AN ANDROID DEVICE (or vice versa). On your device please ensure you have installed the app called OurPact. The free version allows you to control one child's device. If you wish to control more devices you will need to purchase an in-app subscription which costs approx. HK$ 15 per month.

Please make sure that all devices you bring are fully charged, as there is very limited access to power sockets.
