The kind you bring home to Mama.

Strika is Megatron's personally chosen "General of Destruction", and for good reason. She lives for war, for the glory of war. She is the ideal mix of brains and brawn, as her immense strength and brilliant military tactical mind make her a worthy adversary and a dangerous foe to the Autobots. To add to her power, her multi-wheeled heavily armored battle tank mode is equipped with weaponry that produce an enormous amount of fire power. On top of all this, she brought many victories to the Decepticons during the Great War on Cybertron.

She is also Lugnut's "consort", whatever that means.

Ooh! The Autobot Elite Guard. This should be fun.Strika, hoping to kick some aft, "TransWarped"

Strika pose!

As the leader of Team Chaar, Strika and her team attempted to capture space bridge 687-030. After disabling Hot Shot, and being damaged by Rodimus Prime, she was back on her feet in time to criticize Blackout for disabling the Space Bridge and had him reactivate it. After ordering Cyclonus and Oil Slick to help free Spittor and secure the area, she jumped to the Space Bridge controls and contacted Shockwave, asking him for the coordinates for Cybertron. He refused and then told her the he was under strict orders from Megatron to wait for his arrival. Strika, incensed, responded that Megatron was supposed to be there Mega-Cycles ago!

Still guarding the Space Bridge, Strika and her team prepared to face off against the Cybertron Elite Guard, something she was looking forward to. However, before they could, Megatron insisted on a full Decepticon retreat. Strika refused at first, only giving in when faced with the consequences of disobeying Megatron's orders. TransWarped

Later, Strika was apparently part of a Decepticon attack force which descended upon Detroit as the planet Cybertron was brought into Earth orbit. This was eventually revealed to be a virtual reality ruse on Soundwave's part, but it is uncertain how Soundwave came to the decision to integrate a simulation of her into the program, as he had never physically encountered her. Human Error, Part I

After the Autobots defeated and captured Megatron, Strika orchestrated a daring rescue plan requiring Team Stunticon to masquerade as Autobots in a stadium show next to Trypticon Prison; the plan would have allowed them to both rescue their captive leader and bomb all the Autobots in the bleachers into oblivion. However, this plan was foiled by the cunning detective work of Sideswipe and Cheetor. The Stunticons soon wound up sharing prison space with Megatron, and Sideswipe retired to a life of ease on an energon farm—where he was found and attacked by a revengecrazed Strika and Team Chaar! The Cool comic

Strika joined the rest of Team Chaar, led by Cyclonus, as they secretly observed Team Athenia's battle against a Rock Lord. The Cool Extra #2

Notes

  • Derrick J. Wyatt said this about Strika: "another personal Transformers life goal for yours truly".
  • Strika is male in the Latin American Spanish dub of the show due to the third season being dubbed in Colombia rather than Chile as the other seasons were. Unfortunately, she is far from being the only fembot to suffer the same fate. Heck, Jetfire and Jetstorm were dubbed by a woman.
  • Strika is also dubbed by a man in the French version of the show, and speaks with a German accent.
  • Her primary weapons are her Reciprocating Blasters, and she has somehow obtained a small amount of forestonite.
  • Despite being described as Lugnut's "consort", the two have never been seen interacting in any media together to date, the relationship only being mentioned in The Allspark Almanac.
  • According to Lugnut, she is not fond of Blackarachnia or Swindle, due to them not being fully committed to the Decepticon cause.
  • An almost-realized BotCon exclusive from Fun Publications was a redeco of Voyager Class Bulkhead into Strika.[1]
  • In his panel at TFNation 2019, Marty Isenberg admitted that the inclusion of an Animated version of Obsidian in the outline for the unproduced episode "Trial of Megatron, Part 1" might have been a simple slip-up on his part, one that would have been corrected in the final cut by having Strika featured in Obsidian's place.

Foreign names

  • Japanese: Strika (ストライカ Sutoraika)
