Description —Perform service interventions in an efficient manner (First Time Fix the problem) in strict compliance with operating procedures and manuals. —Must be able to correctly troubleshoot, repair all mechanical components and brands of air compressors. —Customer site installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications. —Carrying out quality inspections. —Fixing faults or arranging for replacements to be installed. —Fitting new parts. —Oiling and cleaning machinery and parts and setting controls. —Making scheduled checks for customers machinery and parts. —Overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule. —Measuring performance of mechanical components, devices and engines. —Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate. —Read and interpret documents such as blueprints, technical drawings, safety rules, product catalogues, technical data, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. —Keeping maintenance managers informed of progress. —Visit new clients and up-sell spare parts and maintenance contracts to new and existing clients. —Composing technical and financial proposals. —Ability to write routine reports and correspondences.
Qualifications Experience in handling: •Screw compressors, Air Dryers, Blowers, Generators, Chillers, Thermal oil Heaters, Cooling Towers, Pressure/Vacuum Vessels, Vacuum system, Heat exchangers, Forklifts, Vacuum Pumps. •Must have understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic principles and components. •Knowledge of different types of piping such as types of copper, black, aluminum and galvanized.
