Serious traffic crash, Roma

Police are investigating a serious two vehicle crash that occurred just out of Roma on the Warrego Highway earlier this evening.

Initial investigations indicate that a hatchback was travelling west on the Warrego Highway when it collided with a utility, which was travelling behind it at around 7.30pm.

The driver of the hatchback, a 26-year-old Roma woman, was trapped inside the vehicle as a result of the crash.

After she was extracted by the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, she was transported to the Roma Hospital in a critical condition.

A 14-year-old girl, passenger in the hatchback and the 20-year-old driver of the utility were also transported to hospital with minor injuries.

There is no further information available at this stage.ย  Investigations are continuing.
