What happened when the champion Crashed…

Wyatt Crown was mine, and I was his.

Feeling his hands on my body, his breath on my skin, and the soft whisper when he said he loved me, he’d imprinted himself on my soul. I’d been cherished by a man that had once cherished nothing.

I didn’t feel alone anymore.

I’d found my home. My peace.

Calling out in the cold darkness, the lack of a reply crushes me. My world crumbles around me. My heart breaks, shredding into to a million pieces leaving me broken and scarred.

Why is this happening to me? Why again?

Once more I don’t know the outcome of those I love.

Once more…

I’m afraid.

Crashed Siren’s Call is the second book of the Crashed Series. It is best read after Casper’s Ghost. The Crown family continues within Careen and Whiskey’s Redemption. Both can be read as standalone stories, but suggested after Crashed, Casper’s Ghost and Siren’s Call.

Avid reader, lover of words. To me, picking a book, is like grabbing a movie. If it's wrote well, the story leaps off the page at you, giving you characters that are tangible. I love to make them come to life, and I hope the stories of mine become well loved. I can be found on these other pages.

While I had a few reservations about the first book, this series intrigued me enough that I was eager to read this second book and find out what happened and how it picked up from the first book. Honestly, I was mind blown. This book completely took my breath away. It's an attestant to just how much author's grow and develop with every book. And how much they improve with their writing. Kerri Ann definitely got it write with this one. There was an instant connection with the characters and the emotional effects hit the spot deeply. From the first page, I was instantly hooked. Consumed by the words and the story it was trying to tell me. The pain and heartache that had me gripping me chest, was something I hadn't felt in a while. I was so consumed by this book, devouring every word, it took me by surprise when it ended. It's different and while it focused a lot on one particular situation, there were other aspects that helped balance it out.

Kerri Ann continues to surprise me with her writing and with her work. I am absolutely in love with Wyatt and Circe and the fact that despite some negative reviews in the first book, Kerri persevered and came out strong. This book is fabulous. There are no words. Just have a tissue handy and someone to hold your hand because this book contains angst like no other. You think you have a dysfunctional family? Get ready to meet the Crowns, they'll make you feel normal for once.

Overall, amazing. I couldn't put it down, I finished it in one sitting and sat for at least 2 hours on my bed trying to process it and how quickly I read it. I didn't want it to be over. You won't even be prepared for what's coming!

WOW!!!!! I'm wiping away tears as I write this review.
Once again I have fallen in love with Kerri Ann's work. One of the first things I noticed when reading Crashed Siren's Call, is how beautiful Kerri prose is and reading Siren reminded me of this, because the story is unbelievably eloquent and captivating.
I was absorbed by this story that was simultaneous heart-breaking and heart-warming.
When I finished this book and my heart was so full! You will read this book and reflect on your own life along the way, the choices you make and the relationships you keep and cherish. I absolutely love this story - yes this book made me cry, I laughed and I was angry, I didn't know to either hug, cry or be angry at Kerri for what she put me through but her words have a way of taking you down to rock bottom, and then slowly healing you and putting you back together on the way up during Casper and Siren's journey.
When I read the last page, I had a huge smile on my face and my heart feeling like it was going to burst!
I cannot recommend this book enough. This is a journey that I urge everyone to take.
Be sure to read Crashed Caper's Ghost Book 1 before you start reading Crashed Siren's Call Book 2.

Where to start!!!! What a great book!!!
This book is the second book in the series. You need to read Crashed: Casper's Ghost to know the beginning of Wyatt "Casper" Crown and Circe Maco's story.

It begins with the crash and what happens from there. Whose blood was dripping onto those white rose petals?

The story discusses Wyatt's family dynamics in more length. We learn more about China and Jamieson. We also learn about Circe's past and how she happened to meet Wyatt.

Wyatt's struggle with bipolar and how it affected him continued in this book.
What happens when inside your head you are not in control and also in a very dark place? You don't know how to get out.

What happens when everyone around you knows what happened, but they won't tell you?

This story is a Wyatt and Circe story you will never forget!!

In true Kerri Ann fashion, she pulls you right into the middle of the story. What a rollercoaster of emotions!! I am sure I felt all of them.

This book is wonderfully written. Bipolar disorder is a very challenging illness. I have a family member who was diagnosed. Thank you, Kerri Ann, for the way you portrayed the illness.

I was eagerly reading this, the second book in the series, for the answers to my questions from book one. I got answers, in-depth answers. The story had a good flow and was well written.
I do love Circe and Wyatt as a couple; their love is apparent and they just get each other. You can just tell they are made for each other.
Wyatt's sister, China, is a force to be reckoned with. She loves her brother fiercely, she is a constant source of love and a calmer for Wyatt... until Circe came into his life.
The recovery took a long time for them after the crash in book one... a VERY long time. Wyatt had some demons to fight but with his 'siren', Circe, by his side (eventually) he can fight the world.

This book is certainly a page turner; you need to keep reading to find out how this pans out. I hope we get to see a bit more into the lives of Wyatt's siblings, China and Jamison, in the next book.

I must admit I had not read book 1 Crashed: Casper's Ghost when I got Siren's Call. So I quickly read book 1 that way I knew what to expect in book 2. I instantly found out what I've been told by many people… Kerri Ann is an awesome writer. Siren's call takes over where Casper's Ghost let off. This book really took me on an emotional ride so make sure you have some tissues ready. I absolutely loved how Kerri Ann deals with the delicate subject of Wyatt's struggle with being bipolar. This is a perfectly written book with the right amount of everything. I loved the characters and their stories. Both books will suck you in from the start and keep you guessing till the very end. I definitely recommend you read both Casper's Ghost and Siren's Call you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to read the next Kerri Ann book. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I had been dying to find out since the ending of the first book, and it wasn't apparent at first so you really got hooked immediately trying to piece it all together. The thing I love most about the Author's writing is that there is a flowing musicality to the prose, then along comes some hysterical snark that has you laughing out loud. I thoroughly enjoyed the multiple POV's and the peeks into past happenings that shed light on the lives of the characters giving them highly emotional and in-depth layers. Once again, I'm left super eager for more!

Yes! Circe and Casper go on a journey that is hard and beautiful all at once. What started in Crashed: Casper's Ghost comes to a heart tugging resolution. While there are some hard things happening in this story we get to experience the highs of a true love story. I laughed. I cried. I cannot wait for the next one.

My emotions about this book are all over the place. It picks up just after the crash from book 1, Crashed: Caspers Ghost. This book didn't end with a cliffhanger but you will be waiting to see where this couples story goes. I know I'm already ready for the next book.

Riveting from beginning to end

I absolutely loved the first book in this series, CASPER'S GHOST, so when I was approached to read and review SIREN'S CALL there was no way I was going to turn down that opportunity. Once again Kerri Ann has completely blown me away with her magnificent writing style and skills. This book is even better than the first, I had so much trouble putting it down so I could continue on with my mundane normal life.

SIREN'S CALL is the continuing story of Wyatt and his only love Circe. Hooked from the beginning, this book had me so invested in their relationship, it had to work, there was no way I could condone them ever being apart. I never knew from one moment to the nest if my heart was going to be broken or remain intact - that is how indescribeably good Kerri Ann's writing is.

In this book we learn more about the Crown family and the dynamics upon which it is built. No way would I ever want to be a member of that family!!!! We learn about Circe's past, her struggles, and how she and Wyatt eventually met. We also are witness to Wyatt's neverending battles with his bi-polar. Kerri Ann wrote this all so beautifully and in such a way that it would definitely have to have an affect on those even with the hardest of hearts.

This is a book that will definitely not disappoint any reader who picks it up - but CASPER'S GHOST MUST be read beforehand - otherwise the full impact of the story won't be understood. Kerri Ann's next book cannot be out soon enough for me, she just has a way with her words that make me want so much more.

I absolutely LOVED Casper's Ghost, so I was impatient to read Crashed: Siren's Call, and it did not disappoint one iota! I truly believe after the the first book that Kerri Ann has a huge talent, and boy, this one blew my mind! Just between the two books, her evolvement raised her bar even higher! The emotional feel/angst was magnified X100, and I read much of it with a lump in my throat, and eyes leaky. These characters truly tattooed themselves on my heart permanently, and I will love them FOREVER! I'm not describing it, because my mere words would not do it justice, not to mention the spoilers that would fly out of me since I want to shout every minute of this story from the rooftops. Ms. Ann had me fully captivated from the first paragraph, to the last, while leaving me ready to beg for more. I didn't move an inch, until I devoured every page. I realize that I'm dramatically fan girl gushing, but ultimately, the gist of my review is to say, EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS SERIES IMMEDIATELY! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Talk about an emotional ride. Crashed is the second in the series and keeps you waiting with bated breath as Wyatt and Circe's story continues. This one hits more on the emotional side where you just want to pull them close and give them a big hug. I felt heartbroken and the longing of wanting to know what would happen with the dread of not knowing was palpable. There were a few tears and a few smiles throughout this wonderful book.

What a brilliantly written sequel!
Siren's Call follows on where the first book ended, but is written in a different style which totally worked for me. Once again, the mental health issue was handled with such clarity and compassion. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and Kerri Ann is now a MUST READ author for me.

I don't know how Kerri Ann did it but I think this book is better than the first in this series. I absolutely loved it! It was an emotional roller coaster that I didn't want to get off of. The ups and downs, especially with Wyatt, were so real I felt like I was with him. I can't wait until the next book.

The answers from book one are answered! The author really brings the Crown family alive along with all their quirks and kinks. Casper and Circe's hidden secrets, background traumas and their feelings for each other were presented in a unique way while still maintaining the current characters story. You know it's a great read when the author taps into emotions and fears and makes you wonder.

Crashed: Siren's Call is the continuation of Wyatt "Casper" Crown and Circe Maco's story. This is the second book in the series and starts where the first book ended. If you don't read Crashed: Casper's Ghost first you will be lost. This is the story of what happens after the crash.

In this story we learn more about how being bipolar affects Wyatt. And we learn so much more about Circe and her history, and what led her to eventually meeting Wyatt. We also get to know more about China and Jamieson, who are Wyatt's siblings. We get more of Carli in this story which made me very happy as she was a favorite of mine in the first book.

What happens when you're stuck in your own head and can't find your way out when that's the worst place for you to be? What happens when no one will tell you anything of what happened?

Wyatt and Circe get an amazing end in the book, but I was left still wanting more. I hope we get to see much more of them in the future books of this series.

This book was an amazing ride. In typical Kerri Ann fashion she grabs you from the beginning and sucks you into the story. It was very hard to put this book down and be an adult or go to sleep at night.

Bipolar Disorder is not a laughing matter and the author did an amazing job respecting that.

As the title ‘Crashed’ implies, this is not an easy read and deals with the aftermath of the first book in this phenomenal series. It has moments of beauty, pain, anger, regret, and caused me a lot of frustration. After finishing Casper’s Ghost, I was dying to get my hands on this one. The wait was blessedly short, but still felt too long, as I was overwhelmed with the need to know what happened next.

The story is the opposite of the first book. While Casper’s Ghost had a good deal of interaction, this one focuses on the individuals. I was thrilled that China saw a lot more action. She’s a magnificent character and now I’m anxiously waiting for her book to come out. The first allowed readers a hint at her strong, sassy character, but this one did her justice, allowing her the freedom to become a fully fledged member of the series. Whiskey is another nice touch, although he is not included in much, I got a good sense of his upbringing and his reasoning behind his decision to stay away from the Crown family. Their stories will be wonderful additions to this series.

I admit I was frustrated for a long while. I had expected more one-on-one between Wyatt and Circe, but the story is so much more than that. It is the back story and emotions of each character outside of their relationship and how it affects them as an ‘us’. Wyatt is allowed a lot of time for introspection and, due to his manic depression, suffers a lot with his heightened emotions. It was difficult to read about his struggles to survive and deal with his past and his regrets. I was ecstatic to finally discover the secret of Circe’s past. It was brutal and brought tears to my eyes. The fact that these lovers are kept apart while they deal with these issues is a strength to the story, even though I longed desperately for them to come back together. It was more than worth the wait.

The story is well-done, but it is the author’s writing and connection to her characters that really drew me in. I could feel what they were feeling and it is apparent that the author was fully invested, loving them as much as I do. This is not your typical love story and must be read after Casper’s Ghost, but is a perfect finish for their tale. The story is quick and short, but fulfilling. I did not want for anything, as this book had it all. When I came to the end I was sad that it was over, but I was relieved to finally see the power of their love.

Now, for the rating:

Genre and general reading age – Romance for adults.
Level of sexuality – There was one scene that was rather graphic, but it was mellow compared to the first book. The focus was not on sex, but it was touched upon.
Is there graphic language? You betcha.
Did I cry? There were definitely moments that pulled at my heart-strings.
Did I laugh? Not this time. It was far too serious.
Is this part of a series? Yes, it is book two in the Crown and Anchor series.
Level of character development – The characters are extremely well done and the fact that this book focuses more on the emotional aspects of each one, allowed me to connect with them. They are consistent the entire way through without any weaknesses in the plot.

I love the series and I love this book. It is a perfect follow-up for Casper’s Ghost and is unique in its own beautiful way. It opened my eyes to the mental anguish of someone with Wyatt’s condition and the aftermath of a great tragedy. I’m excited to give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars. This is one that will stick with me.

description

Crashed: Sirens Call was a great 5 star read.

All I can say is WOW!!
This is such a heartbreaking story that really pulls you in.

Wyatt, his mother and Circe have been in an accident. Circe and Wyatt are in separate rooms and no one will tell them how the other is doing.

Wyatt can hear everything going on around him and wants to talk to them badly but he can’t seem to open his eyes. Where is Circe is she okay? As the weeks move forward he finds himself remembering and reflecting on the past, along with dealing with his bipolar issues. He also hears conversations between his brother and sister and nurses. There’s more questions than answers, and no one can hear me.

Circe is struggling with depression. She finds out some news on the accident and it sends her spiraling into past memories of the accident when she lost her friends. My soul is literally curling in on itself as it loses hope of seeing him again.

There is so much more to this great read. I was an emotional wreck reading this book, I had several teary eyed moments. The things that this family goes through really makes you think about what you would do if you were in that situation. We also see China and Whiskey grow closer as they deal with all of the emotional things. The ending was good but I can’t help but want to see more from this family, I’m looking forward to reading Careen book 3 in the series. If you're looking for a great read that will bring some reflection into your heart and mind as you read than 1-click and get started on this great read today.

Crashed.... couldn't put it down!

I actually came to hate a character I loved in the first book. It wasn't the main characters, no they were amazing! This is a book you can actually feel the love of Wyatt and Circe. It was tangible. And In order for this book to be as heart wrenching as it was, the character I still haven't forgiven, needed to pull the stunt they did. Truth... I absolutely without a doubt loved this book. I'm hoping for redemption of said character in a book, and Whiskey... He needs a story too. This is book 2, you need to read 1 first. I definitely recommend this book. I was gifted a copy.

Siren's Call by Kerri Ann is book 2 in the Crown and Anchor series. This book picks up right where Book 1 left us. After the crash, the recovery process is long and slow. The characters that are involved go through so much. Kerri Ann done a great job with details this go around. Everything was explained. There was nothing left unexplained, in my opinion.

Wyatt, I am pretty sure I fell head over hills for him. He caught me by surprise, getting inside his head; priceless. What happens with Wyatt after the accident? Will he hold onto his light, or lose it forever? Will his family be there for him when he needs them most?

Circe, I think she was the perfect balance to Wyatt. She was so full of love for him. When she constantly gets brushed aside, will she let go or hold on with all her might? Will Her love calm the darkness?

I look forward to finding out where Kerri Ann takes us next.

With the way Caspers ghost ended I could not wait to see how the continuation went so I highly suggest reading that one before sirens call you will be lost and confused . This starts off right were the other left off with my heart in my throat and not knowing what was going to happen . The way Kerri Ann writes is very dark poetic like with a unique style . We are in both characters heads from the tragic end and the fallout from it , this would be a short review because I don't want to spoil it/ruin it . We get to see a lot from other characters can't wait for their own books mostly China's story witch is next .

Book two picks up right where book one ended. What happens after the crash is the focus here. There is a lot of healing to be done, both physically and mentally. We get multiple POV's (which I personally love), we get the set up for the next book and we get a hint of what the future holds for Wyatt and Circe.

Overall it was a good read and I will definitely read more of this series.

Crashed Siren's Call is the continuation of Wyatt "Casper" Crown & Circe Maco's story. This is the second book in the series & begins where book one ended. This is not a standalone & needs to be read in order.
A breathtaking novel that is reviting & will have you on a roller coaster of emotions. Tissue box needed. The writing style is unparalled & the story was flawlessly & brilliant written with a enchanting plot. With leading characters that are compelling & are truly brought out to come alive on paper. Also, supporting character's are illustrious as they capture & captivate your thoughts. I love the multiple pov's as we get a glimpse of everyones thoughts. We go back to the past to a glimpse at what there lives were like early on & sheds light on what made them who they are today. It's done in a way that is not confusing & enhances the story. A beautiful ending to Wyatt & Circe's epic love story that leaves you wanting more. I hope to see more of them in future books in this series. I really hope that Jamieson "Whiskey" Crown gets his own book in the series. A must read author & book totally worth one-clicking. I volunteerly reviewed an advanced reading copy of this book.

Crashed: Siren's Call starts off where book one left us on a big cliffhanger.

Circe and Wyatt are working through their personal demons as are his brother Jamieson (Whiskey) and China (Doll). Whiskey and Doll have bigger parts in this book and I think we are moving towards their stories in future books.

Siren's Call is more emotional, for me, than book one. It looks deeper into the emotional scars that several of the characters have. The author reveals more of their issues and resolve some of them. There was a twist that I didn't see coming but it worked well with the story.

I don't want to give anything anyway so I don't want to talk about the story too much. I enjoyed this book and am enjoying the author's writing style. I did have a bit of trouble with switching between given names, nicknames and then abbreviations of the nicknames for Jamieson.

This is looking to be a great new series with some heavy scenes but also some really sweet and moving scenes and a bit of comic relief from Circe's bestfriend.

Looking forward to book 3.

I really enjoyed this book. Crashed: Siren's Call is book 2 in the series and you will need to read Crashed: Casper's Ghost to full understand the story. It is well written and emotional.

Following immediately from Book 1, Book2 is set in the hospital and follows the treatment of both Cerci and Wyatt. They have been involved in an accident, have serious injuries and neither knows where the other is. This is the continuation of a love story but they are both injured so romance is out of the question.

I really loved the way Ms. Ann wrote this in multiple POV. I enjoyed the various viewpoints from the characters, and what they were thinking about besides the main characters injuries. I like how she brought it all together in the final chapters, especially the last few pages. Superbly done. I LOVED IT!!!

Crashed, Siren's Call volume 2, by Kerri Ann.
This book picks right up where book 1 ended. The one with a major cliffhanger, I might add!
"Something has happened- something epic and life changing."

We get to know more about the family Crown. China gets herself in some problems with the law.
And we get some stories from the past!

"Death had kissed me on the way by."

I enjoyed it, Kerri Ann knows how to write a intriguing story!

I really enjoyed this story line. I thought the way it went into Circe`s past accident and the present was so well written and full of emotion. The way that Wyatt held conversations in his mind while in a coma managed to explain a lot about his relationship with his family.
I enjoyed the ending of this book and hope there is more. I highly recommend this book and this Author.

I highly recommend reading book 1 of this series (Crashed: Casper's Ghost) before reading this one. It'll give you more well rounded picture of the Crown family and the part all the main characters play in book 2, as well as the background behind what happened. I loved this book - Circe and Wyatt have a lot of healing to do, both physically and emotionally. Their love and their emotions really shined here. It kept sucking me in, not letting go. Meanwhile, their family and friends kept vigil, and their stories began to sprout and take root. I can't wait to read more - each book has really pulled me in, and I am loving this family!

To be honest, I hated this book. The first one was okay, so decided that I wanted to read the second one in the serie.

The story really slow and at one point I started to skip some parts, because there wasn’t any progess at all.

And I find Doll/China a complete bitch, why tf can’t just say watch going on with your brother to his girlfriend? I know she had a hard time, but come on, her reasons were selfish and complete bs. What is wrong with you, if you let someone in the dark for months and not tell he lived but is in a coma??

Sorry, seriously didn’t like this book, so 1 star for me
