Ingredients
Peel from 1 lemon plus 1/2 cup juice, plus slices for serving
- 1/2 c.
sugar
- 2 c.
amber rum
- 1 c.
Cognac
- 1/4 c.
peach brandy
- 2 c.
black tea, at room temperature
Directions
- Step 1Combine lemon peel, sugar, and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved. Cool to room temperature; discard lemon peel.
- Step 2Combine lemon juice, rum, Cognac, brandy, tea, and simple syrup in a pitcher. Serve over ice with lemon slices.
Note: For a slightly less stiff drink, add an extra cup black tea.
