Parent Involvement School Appraisal
This instrument is designed to assess how your school is involving students, parents and families in supporting student success in meeting and exceeding the Hawaii Content and Performance Standards.  Your school’s appraisal and reflective questions should add to your knowledge about parent, family, student, community and staff involvement within your school.  Use this tool, with participation from teachers, parents, students, staff, community members and others, as appropriate.  Each group has a different knowledge and perspectives of the present parent involvement practices, strengths, and needs of your school.

Use the results from this appraisal, with other data/information on your parent/family involvement program efforts to systematically and continuously monitor the effectiveness of the implementation of your parent/family involvement initiatives.
