Just submitted mine.
1 from The Black Market 0 from Endgame 2 from Appeal to Reason 3 from The Sufferer and the Witness 1 from Siren Song 2 from RPM 1 from Unraveling
2 singles, the rest are album tracks. Rise Against album tracks are often better than their singles, in my opinion. On a side note, Joe Principe is a really good bassist.

Probably won't be online for most of tonight as I'm working on a paper, so this is just a quick bump for anybody who has yet to submit.
There are a little over 24 hours left for your submissions, the window closes tomorrow night at midnight EST!
There are already 21 responses, if we manage to get three more before the deadline we'll break the record held by the Green Day and Linkin Park votes.

Pulse Top 10s #6 - Rise Against - Results
I'm back again to show off our 6th vote! 22 posters submitted, including one new member to the panel! The club of members who have voted in all 6 polls so far is now down to 12, we'll see how long that group can stick together. At the top of the list are the two likely candidates, Savior and Prayer Of The Refugee held the top two posts from the very first few votes and traded back and forth throughout the week. The rest of the singles settled in near the top of the charts, though there was quite a bit of variety throughout all of the albums. The votes are skewed more towards recent albums, which will make some posters happy, though Baron probably falls on the other side of that fence. Stay tuned for the announcement of our seventh vote in a few days! What's with the red mark against Green Day and Linkin Park? Were they in the running and I forgot? LOL

*looks to see who else voted for "State of the Union"...is immediately surprised that it wasn't Baron* ...crash, my MAN! *high five* I'm a little surprised that "Give It All" didn't have more support, though. What's with the red mark against Green Day and Linkin Park? Were they in the running and I forgot? LOL That would probably be because we've already done top tens for both. ;)

State of the Union finished #11 for me. Previously #8, but then other songs overtook it.

What's with the red mark against Green Day and Linkin Park? Were they in the running and I forgot? LOL Since we've already done lists for them, I figure that there's no point in making new lists for them unless they have new songs out that could change up the rankings. The red line is a little dramatic though

And here I thought no one would vote for "Collapse (Post-Amerika)"; 5 people did lol. Well no one else put it as their #1 so at least I have that going for me.

So glad they played it when I saw them in concert a few months back.

Wait...no one voted for Blood to Bleed? How? That was my #11
WatchMojo also made one of these. Make of that what you will.
Half of their top ten overlapped with ours.

so...is the only way to nominate bands for this thread to actually vote for the band that's picked?...because i haven't really been very interested in the majority of the bands so far (no offense) but it seems like the bands chosen appeal to most of the posters on this board, so thats good

Great turn out. Didn't think "Anyway You want It" would make the top 10, but I like it anyway. BTW; as far as sugested artists are concerned, I see two for the Cars as choice #1. Me and Crash46, so they should be next. I mean, no other suggested band appears twice like The Cars in column one.

*looks to see who else voted for "State of the Union"...is immediately surprised that it wasn't Baron* ...crash, my MAN! *high five* I'm a little surprised that "Give It All" didn't have more support, though. Yeah, I think Siren Song was a really good record and a track that slams like "State of the Union" is the perfect way to kick it off. Back in '04, people here didn't like that song because they used to think there was never a place for screaming in music. It's funny because by today, screaming has regressed so far beyond the mean that now we say there isn't enough screaming. I thought about only having Siren Song tracks for my list, but I stopped at 5 and added in some other singles that I kind of like from the other albums. I'm glad that "Dancing For Rain" showed as well as it did; it was the 2nd highest deep cut overall. And also surprised "Give It All" didn't do better. I had it at #1 and nobody else even had it in their top five? That would probably be because we've already done top tens for both. ;) Well then I say let's do them again! Yeah every time I stumble upon page 1 of this topic, I get this feeling of remorse over the PT10's that I missed out on. Green Day needs to hurry up and release Quattro like last Tuesday so we can start that one over. Or maybe just a live DVD of some American Idiot show that has songs we can vote on.

Same can be said about the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They are due for some new music and I've been itching for some bonafide Alternative Rock for sometime now.

I'm here to announce our seventh artist! The Offspring come out victorious with a commanding three vote lead, and Nickelback settles for second place for a second straight week. How long will they have to wait to earn their own vote? Probably not too long. Beck drops out of the vote again :( with only three votes, losing the tiebreaker to R.E.M. by having less overall recommendation points. The two artists to join the vote next week are newcomer Weezer, and re-entry Seether. To Dr. Indie's probable disappointment, The Cars slotted in at #11 this week, just barely missing the cut. If they continue to raise support at the same rate they should make the poll next time around. Here's the full table:The Offspring - 11 Nickelback - 8 Shinedown - 7 Queens of the Stone Age - 7 Incubus - 6 Alice In Chains - 6 Deftones - 6 Nivana - 4 R.E.M. - 3 Beck - 3 Here's the link to the Offspring poll! I'll keep this poll open until Tuesday, October 13th at Midnight EST because I'm really really busy next Monday.

Man, I want to vote for their cover of AFI's "Totalimmortal" so badly but it just missed the cut. Another band where most of my Top 10 isn't singles.

Not too big of an Offspring fan so I had mostly singles. I did favor my favorite Offspring album though, Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace.

My top two was the only "set in stone" picks. 3-10 was both tough to put together and then rank. One song, in particular, pained me to leave off (and if you're curious, it was "(Can't Get My) Head Around You").
I'm also not fooling myself: My #1 has to be one of the favorites to finish #1 in the overall list. It's also one of my favorite songs ever, so I regret nothing.

I had very little 90s Offspring on my list, but my #1 was from the 90s.
