Watch: Live chat with ‘Scandal’ star Kerry Washington

Last we saw her, she was leaving on a jet plane.

The Season 3 finale of ABC’s gasp-fest “Scandal” saw D.C. fixer Olivia Pope, played by Kerry Washington, fly off into the sunset with sometimes suitor Jake Ballard, ignoring a call from crestfallen President Fitz. It’s not a question of if she’ll be back, but rather whether she’ll actually get a handle on a Fitz-free life.

Washington will stop by the Los Angeles Times on Tuesday to take part in a live chat at 11 a.m. PDT -- and we’ll be getting her thoughts on Liv’s fight-or-flight response in the season-ender.

We can’t say we blame Liv for wanting to escape. The panic-ridden season saw her contend with the realities of her rogue parents, more than a few deaths and woes among her Gladiator team. Wine and popcorn can only do so much to combat the stress.
