Watch: Why Amy Schumer Won't Take a Vacation

Amy Schumer isn't slowing down anytime soon.

"There are no vacations for a very long time," the Trainwreck star told me at the Hollywood Film Awards. "I'm all booked up."

But when she does get a break, Schumer said, "I'm gonna try to snag myself a man."

Not only does the Emmy winner have the next season of her hit Comedy Central show, Inside Amy Schumer, to put together, but she's also been writing a movie about two sisters with Jennifer Lawrence.

"Jennifer is a great writer," Schumer said. "She doesn't play buy the rules. She can be out there in a really cool way where you thought that you understood a scene and then she'll just kind of turn it. She's great."

JLaw announced in August they were writing a script together.

Perhaps Schumer can snag a gig on Orphan Black.

The BBC series' star Tatiana Maslany is a big Schumer fan. "I love her," Maslany told me in September at a pre-Emmys party. "I just think she's brave and smart and not scared to be smart and not scared to put herself out there and be really vulnerable. People think she's crass. I don't think she's crass. I think she's saying what we all think. She's just saying it loud. I think there's something really vulnerable about doing that and yet she's rising up constantly."

The love is mutual.

"I live for her," Schumer said just minutes after meeting Maslany for the first time on the Emmys red carpet. "She's not only an amazing actor but you could just see when someone's that powerful the kind of person they are. I feel like the two of us will change s--t and be strong female activists together."
