There are not that many choices for cleaning oriental rugs in the Seattle area. I was quite pleased with the job they did on our rug, they even showed us the process and found out they can clean more than just rugs. Emmanuel's is a family business that is run by the great grand daughter of the founder. Definitely use them again.

Don't let the decidedly sketchy location fool you. This is where the beautiful old Persian rugs of Seattle are taken and the high end upholstery and slip covers are done. This was my first experience with them and won't be my last. I brought in my large (very filthy dog stained) rug and they treated it with care and expertise - all for hundreds less than what I paid at other high end rug cleaning establishments. This is a hidden treasure of Seattle. I hope they stay in business for decades more to come.

I have used Emmanuel's twice now. Once for a rug cleaning, and once for a repair. Both times, I got quotes from three rug places, and their pricing was always the best. They also do meticulous work. One rug I brought in to be cleaned had been purchased on eBay and came to me caked in mud. Emmanuel's cleaned it twice for me in order to actually get it clean, and only charged me for one cleaning. For the rug repair, most other places quoted me over a thousand, which I am sure involved reweaving the rug. Emmanuel's was the only place to give me the option of repairing with patches- which was so much more affordable. As you can see in the pictures they did an amazing job matching! They also finished everything super quickly- only took a week. I will continue to take my rugs here and tell everyone else to as well!
