There are times in every artist’s life — whether they are beginners, accomplished artists, or even masters of their art — when the path seems foggy and uncertain, crammed with insurmountable challenges.
When such a time comes, what we need is seemingly simple but often hard to find: some support, some outside perspective, or just a safe and compassionate space to talk through our struggles, our doubts, our dreams.
And this is the essence of what I want to offer you today: a free 20-30 minutes coaching session. The intent of this conversation is to help you turn around the biggest challenge you are facing right now, so that the path towards your next breakthrough is cleared. This challenge can be artistic, technical, organizational, psychological, anything really — it doesn’t matter insofar as this is what’s standing in your way.
Now, since so many of “free offers” nowadays tend to turn into sales in disguise once you are in, I feel compelled to make this promise: there will be no sales whatsoever “embedded” in this conversation, subtly or not so subtly. There is no catch — just fill in this form to receive information about how to schedule your free breakthrough session right now:
What’s in it for me, you may wonder? Well, most importantly, I just love helping people. Don’t we all?… The truth is, allowing someone to try and help you is an utmost expression of courage, kindness, openness; it can feel incredibly uncomfortable, vulnerable, scary. Believe me, I know first-hand how hard it can be (in fact, if I were to name my own biggest challenge, this might well be the one).
But the courage it takes to step into the unknown, the uncertain, the frightening — that’s what, when all is said and done, makes one an artist. Everything else is secondary. So, if it is fear that has stopped you from signing up above right now, please just let go of this fear, and sign up. This letting go of fear might be the first step towards overcoming your challenges, and I will be honored and humbled by the trust you’ll express by giving me the chance to help you in clarifying the next ones.
In the spirit of complete honesty, here is another reason why I am doing this. I want to understand what are these biggest painting challenges people are struggling with, so that I can — in the future — design courses which would address these real problems (rather than dealing with something coming from my own imagination or past experiences, or from one or another tradition of teaching art).
Of course, you may have another question (a big elephant in the room, really) — how can I be so sure that I can help you? And how can you be sure you won’t be wasting your valuable time talking to me?
The honest answer is, neither of us can be sure.
But there is a certain magic in two minds work together in unison, in the spirit of openness and compassion: insights and aha-moments happen, new pathways are opening. This is the energy of co-creation at work.
Besides, I studied painting for about eight years in formal settings, and then, for about fifteen more years, informally — through reading, and doing, and talking with other artists. It doesn’t mean that I know answers to all the questions — nothing can be further from the truth, but I just might happen to know something which would be helpful to you.
At the moment, I am not sure for how long I will be able to keep this opportunity open. So, if I were you, I would take me up on my offer right now — all you have to lose is 30 minutes of your time, and these thirty minutes will be fully dedicated to you and your art. Even if I am just there to listen, this time won’t really be lost, would it? Because if nothing else, it will help you listen to yourself.
If you are still reading this, there must be a reason for that — something you really need to talk about. So please take your chance, don’t procrastinate about it, and just go ahead and fill the form to receive further information in your inbox.
I really hope to see you on the other side, and look forward to talking with you (and, most importantly, listening to you)!
