SACO, Maine — Several on- and offramps will be shut down to traffic on Interstate 195 on Thursday and Friday while nighttime road work continues, according to the Maine Department of Transportation.

Paving and milling work will require the on- and offramps for Exit 1 to periodically be shut down, according to MDOT spokesman Ted Talbot.

On Thursday, the Exit 1 westbound onramp will be closed from 9 p.m.-midnight, the eastbound offramp will be shut down from 11 p.m.-2 a.m. and the eastbound onramp will be closed from 1-5 a.m.

On Friday, the Exit 1 eastbound onramp will be shut down from 9 p.m.-midnight. Detour signs will be posted during these time periods.
